Ronda Rousey Set to Star in a 'Road House' Remake

 

She definitely seems like she could rip someone's throat out.

 

It's been 26 years since Patrick Swayze won the adoration of millions of movie fans by ripping a dude's throat straight out of his neck. And now UFC superstar Ronda Rousey will take a crack at the role that made Swayze an immortal [BAD WORD REMOVED] in an upcoming remake of the absurdly violent Road House.

She's only 28, so she could go on for a while longer.

 

That said, once her acting career is established, I doubt we'll see much more of her in the ring. I get the feeling that she's trying to position herself as estrogen's answer to Chuck Norris.

I saw a quote and article about her retiring recently.  I think her quote was she doesn't see herself fighting much into her 30's.  With 30's meaning 31/32.
