Keeper league help
|
In our league, you can't keep a player with your first 3 picks. After that, you can keep 2 players, and it costs you 2 rounds better than you drafted them last year. For example. I draft D. Murray in the first round, and he can't be kept, but I picked C. Hyde in the 5th, Roethlesburger in the 8th, and Keuchly with a 16th. It's a 16 person league, so the players will obviously drafted in earlier rounds than standard leagues.
I pick 4th, and plan on taking any of the top backs. I pick at 28 for my second pick, and then 36. These players will be kept by others. Jordan Matthews, Mike Evans, Alshon Jeffery, CJ ANderson, ODell Beckham JR., Andre Ellington, Martavis Bryant, Devante Adams, Travis Kelce, Jeremy Hill, Justin Forsette, Stevie Johnson, and Keenan Allen. With a lot of quality picks gone before my second pick, Carlos Hyde sits pretty high on my board for my second pick. But I can keep him for my 36th pick. Obviously I'm keeping Bathroom Ben. And the value of Keuchly for at pick 224 is pretty high. So I guess my question is, who has more value? Carlos Hyde with the 36th pick , or Keuchly with pick 224? Thanks for your help everybody.

I don't do leagues with defensive players, so take this for what it's worth.
I think I'd try to get Hyde at that 36th pick. I don't think though he will be very effective this season. SF sucks. That is why Kuechly looks intriguing at 224. I guess it also depends on point values of each position and the impact there from week to week. I would think the RB position, even in a league with defensive players would be much bigger. I see our dilemma though.
