Stars Wars spaceship on Mars? NASA probe spots mysterious object like 'Star Destroyer' on Red Planet

This mysterious object spotted by NASA's Mars Curiosity Rover will look eerily familiar to millions of Star Wars fans.

A new photo taken by the probe shows a what will look, to many, like a Star Destroyer from the blockbuster film franchise.

The object was spotted by UFO expert Scott C Waring.

I watched some show on the History channel (not sure how sci-fi made it on that channel), but it stated that before former President (R.I.P.) Ronald Regan had mentioned "Star Wars" a program had been in place for years of sending {Space} Marines (Dept of the US Navy) to a Top Secret Space Station which could hold hunderds of soldiers for long periods of time.   The space station among many capabilities could shoot down potential threats to the U.S. such as meteors, asteroids, possibly hostile aliens, etc.

I highly doubt that it is true for the sole reason that our goverment isnt even capable of paying off its National Debts let alone organizing something that complicated and keeping it a secret to the public, yet a good story none the less.
