Wasn't it his left hand? Watching the game, it was his right hand on the sideline.I think they just want him out of the preseason. What say you? Can't post image.

Honestly I don't care if it was a "cover up". I think it's best he sits out the rest of the preseason anyway.

His right hand quite literally smashed into the ground under his own weight.

Not True. Go back and look at the game. It was his left hand that hit the ground. One more thing that make this smell fishy. But hey, I like the smell. Go Jags!

After I saw that hit last night, I commented to the guy sitting next to me that it would be just like the Jags to have their #1 Free Agent pickup go out in the first series of preseason just like they lost their #1 Draft Choice in the first half hour of rookie OTA's...    I felt better when he got up without a problem it seemed...  couldn't see the bench from the East Club...

Don't think it is good to have him not practicing or playing preseason games...  He and Bortles need the work together..

Actually, his left hand did hit the ground, but his right hand CLEARLY landed awkwardly as he rolled his body. Hence, the injury. Sorry.

We're snake bitten Doug-H. We need to bubble wrap our guys like Logs said.

I see your point though. We just gotta hope no serious injury for none of our guys, but especially our core.

No need to be sorry. We're both speculating. If the reporting wasn't accurate to what was shown on field and for them to know within moments he has a fracture seems odd. They usually don't know this information until the next day. Plus Gus's need to address it this afternoon without being asked about it is funny smelling too, but I liked move. Well played coach. Go Jags!

Reading the title of this thread, I thought this was going..

"She put this team together because she thought we'd be bad enough to finish dead last, knockin' attendance down to the point where she could move the team to Miami."

We can only hope that is the case, but I do think he was injured as he showed his hand immediately after heading to the sideline to the trainers.
