That's good news. He's a rock solid piece on that d line and there aren't a lot of proficient guys out there with his specific skill set.

He's only due 4 million in 2017. That's very cheap for his level of play. 

 

If he can come back from this achilles surgery he should still be a Jaguar through 2018.  A number of defensive linemen have successfully returned after such a surgery in the past.  It's not a 100% success rate of course, but he's got a chance.

Try the French Dip next time you go there.  It would be a bit better with some onions and bell peppers, but it's surprisingly pretty good.
