Will we see this version of Gus Bradley this year?

Now that the talent and experience level has increased I think its fair to start having expectations. Expectations that were unfair to even mention 2 years ago. Expectations that guys will know where to line up properly. Expectations that more plays will be made vs left out on the field. The positive outlook doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother other board members but I think its fair for Gus to expect a certain level of play from his players this season. Will we see Bradley become more demanding of his team?

Probably. He won't go full-on Del Reject and jump from relaxed players' coach to hard-edged disciplinarian overnight (and lose the locker room in the process), but I think you'll see fewer smiles and hugs on the sideline as the year goes by.
Hah, you can see Michael Bennett in the backround. Probably a rookie at the time and not even in uniform.
My thought on the matter from a few days ago...

No...........................................well., maybe...........................................no. Yes. Hell, I don't know. If he acts like that will the players be better?

Quote:Hell, I don't know. If he acts like that will the players be better? There are some players that are self motivated. Some are more competitive than others. And some need a fire lit under their bottoms. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Gus being a little more like that. There's too much blood, sweat, and tears being put in by too many players for every player not to play with emotion and urgency. I wish the Jags staff would hire me, I would love to yell at those guys all day long. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
