He was the GOAT before this game. This just cemented his legacy. He will probably add another next year.

^I agree, he already was.
But man,,,,, no doubt about it now after that performance tonight.
WOW. GOAT.

You could argue his legacy is not over yet. He plans to play several more years, which would make him the oldest starting QB ever. (Brett Favre retired at age 42.)

If he gets Gronk back next season, it only increases his odds for another ring..

Idk.
The only was I could see it is if he just wants to end it going out on top.
Usually when time catches up to the QBs,, you can definitely see the decline in play. It was obvious to see with Manning. You could see it with Favre at the end too.
The way Brady played tonight and most of this year? There's NO decline at all yet.
Barring injuries,, he still has at least a couple seasons of top play left in him if he decides to do it.

Quote:Idk.Maybe not next year. But I would place retirement at being more likely in 2 years than 3. But it is Tom Brady.

Quote:Idk.When Favre went to the Vikings and made it to the NFC championship that one year he was in his 40s and had one of his best seasons of his career. There is no reason to think Brady could do any different especially after tonight. He had 62 pass attempts on almost 500 yards to win his record setting 5th SB. Crazy

CrazyAnd Farve tanked the very next season. Not saying that will happen to Brady, cause he is better than Farve, but Farve had crazy arm strength. Brady doesn't. When it goes for him, its gonna be bad. Like Manning was. One season hes still got it, and the next hes done.

[BLEEP] Tom Brady

My skepticism is based on Bill Belicheat. He can make any QB look great. Remember Matt Cassel in 2008? How about Jacoby Brissett? We will never know if Tom Brady would be as successful with any other coach because he played for Bill Belicheat his entire career.

I think he has a couple years at least though. Not to mention Gronk will probably be back

He won 5 less games than Brady did the year before. Brissett got shut out. And Brady has 5 rings haha
