Fisch is the worst
Quote:Don't tell me what I see. Bortles is the worst rated quarterback going right now. Worry about your favorite team's signal caller buddy. He needs all the support he can get.

Well, buddy, I see you have no documented response. You're probably new to this whole football thing.

This board can be pretty tough when you have to wade through the cry babies.

It's Fisch's playcalls that make me want to cry.. week in, week out. That, along with BB's 'development'. sobbing.... it's punishment for having made fun of my dad all those years for being an Eagles fan.. and now they have Kelly.. ahhhh haah haah haah
@HaysCarlyon: Gus Bradley says execution, play calling hold offense back at times. #Jaguars

Interesting.

ya we are changing OCs after this year.  We've been through this before with a defensive HC.  The OC becomes a revolving door until you find some OC worth keeping (i.e. Koetter)

If accountability is the theme then he is as good as gone... I do wonder if theres an OC good enough to score points without an offensive line

Yea the Dolphins line is not very good. His uptempo offense really helps too.
Players vs. Coaching is an interesting argument to who's to blame.  Frankly, I view it as a chicken and the egg type question.

The correct answer is Both...it's a trick question.

Well to win a SB you obviously need both. Has there ever been a talent depleted team with a great coach that wins the SB? Or a very talented team with a bad coach who wins a SB?

But to just be capable of putting up points, its been pretty proven that a good coordinator can make it work with all most anyone. Look at Marinelli coaching the Cowboys defense. They actually lost personel from a team that was 32nd in defense last year and now they are better.

Finally Gus says something worthwhile and truthful in his presser.

Now what does he do about it? That's what I want to know.

SB, did you say SB? SB, lol, I just want to win another game.
I hope the title of this thread is the answer to the following question: Who is the Jags OC next season?

Wait....who did the team execute last week?

So players and plays? Indeed interesting.

Some could argue that Dick Vermeil won a Superbowl with an "injured" team since their starting QB was lost for the season. Nobody in the world foresaw the player Kurt Warner would become.

On the other side of the spectrum there could also be an argument made that Barry Switzer was a terrible coach who won a Superbowl with an unstoppable machine that Jimmy Johnson built.

A second nomination in this case could be made for Brian Billick. I never really thought he was that great of a coach. Ozzie Newsome had that defense so loaded with talent that any serviceable coach probably could have had the same result.

Regarding the former, no, none that I can recall. Regarding the later, yes, see Barry Switzer.
Quote:Ok.. Aaron Rogers threw ZERO td's and 2 int's today... It happens to the best of them and he has a much better O-line to hide behind.... I think it's YOU that needs to stop playing stupid... Oh wait... You aren't playing, are you..
Why are you trying to compare Aaron Rodgers to the worst quarterback starting statistically? Because he had one bad game? How many of these bad games Bortles has had this year? We won a game he threw 3 picks and had nothing to do with him for winning. That's called playing stupid or it's a good chance you were just handed those genes.

Have you even tried to fathom why Bortles is having such a rough time? He spends the majority of any given game either trying to untangle himself from the big ugly that just landed on top of him, or he's running for his life trying to avoid that big ugly.  Look at the 8x10 and not the wallet size... The bigger picture tells a lot more.  Now, if you'd like to continue calling me names as you breathe through your mouth, have at it..... It's only proving your lack of mental fortitude.

He means the Jaguars execution, as in the Jags are the ones getting executed each week.
