People often falsely identify all voices as the same. The people who wanted Bortles right away arent necessarily the same people who want him now benched and the coach fired.
Ftr, i wanted bortles by wk 3. I dont really want fisch fired, but he is certainly upgradable.

Not all of them, but quite a few.

Ha id say very few are the triple threat: wanted bortles, want him benched, want coach fired

Guarantee you there is a ton of overlap. Its the "instant gratification" crowd.

Asking for a competitive football team after 7 years of historically hot garbage being put on the field is not demanding 'instant gratification'. In actuality it is the 'complacent hand-sitters that are fine with below mediocrity for decades' crowd that is more worrying. Majority of teams are able to find at least 1 or 2 seasons in a 7-year stretch that they were at least competitive, and I am sure those teams didn't go threw a 4-year rebuilding process to get it.
Now you say that doing this rebuild will allow us to not be a 1 or 2-season competitor over a decade team but a yearly competitor, well I sure as hell hope so because the way things look now that is definitely not the case.

With the current regime, anything that happened prior to 2013 doesn't matter. As a fan it sucks but these guys are here to clean up the stinking mess left here by Wayne Weaver and Gene Smith. Nobody said it would be easy.

The team was a game away from winning the division in 2010, right?

A team with MJD in his prime, a veteran QB, and a stable o-line full of vets didn't even have a realistic shot at winning the division. The schedule worked out in such a way that they appeared competitive heading into December, but when they played indy it was once again clear that the Jaguars simply didn't measure up.
