Quote:Keenan didn't do squat for the redskins. Stop acting so hurt. He doesn't have the tenure either way. Lol bunch of butt hurt homers up in here.
Its not even homerism. You started by not even knowing he had a job and now are switching your stance to him not doing good at the job you didnt know he had. You cant actually expect us to take you seriously here.
Quote:As a TERP, I can agree with everything you said. If you live just outside of D.C., we may have crossed paths before because I also live just outside of there. Not easy being a Jags fan in Maryland lol
I live out in Western MD. Grew up in Montgomery County though...not all that close to DC and I don't make a habit of going there all that often these days. I'm an old home body these days.
There is a high probability we know some of the same people if you're in your late 30s/early 40s, however.

Oh that failed stint in DC? Did he even finish the second season? Really who's gonna follow Keenan's failed attempt at coaching in the NFL unless your some nostalgic blind homer. Some of you are acting as if he revolutionized coaching for the deadskins. I know what it is. It's the only thing a loser can do because they have no actual thoughts to counter. I say Keenan was a questionable hire who doesn't have enough experience and you and your cronies turn around cry foul because he's some type of legend.
The pete rose of playing WR without the gambling issues, good hire

You're just salty that you got called out lololololol

No one is acting like he revolutionized coaching. You said you wish he had nfl experience, He did have league experience and we let you know about it. And then you switched your troll to him being bad at his job, but we already acknowledged you didnt know anything about the job, so what youre saying means nothing. Whether youre a troll or just not very smart whatever youre attempting to do here is failing.
Hmmm. I know another coach who had no NFL experience (which mccardell does) who's first job was a NFL wide receiver coach.
Coughlin.

Yup and he's been one of the best WR developers/evaluators ever.

No one has taken Thundetcat serioussly for years.
What I remember about watching McCardell was that every route looked the same until it wasn't and he had a 5 yard cushion where he's wide open. That kind of detail is why someone like him can get open constantly and someone like Matt Jones with all his size and speed could never get separation. If he can teach our gifted wideouts to run routes like that they will be fantastic. Antonio Brown is like that too. He's not that fast or big but he is constantly open.

The man has potential to be a good coach, thus he's interviewing for the job. If he gets the job, that doesn't instantly make the team better.
True story, I moved Cyp to linebacker and Telvin to safety on Madden, then I traded Henne, Julius Thomas and a first-round pick for Brady. Championship.

What were their ratings after the switch?
I'm loving this coaching staff so far. A lot of HC experience between the staff already made, I just hope they can all work together and don't butt heads too much. I think the previous teams that have had a lot of HC experience (Browns and Dolphins I think??) had nowhere near the talent level we have at the time of their staff so we should hopefully be able to put it all in place. We all say this every year but I think we're looking at a pretty special year next year finally.

I acknowledged I missed that. But my main point was he didn't have enough experience to begin with in my opinion. Its a valid concern. But this is nothing new people are just mad because when I question a certain hire or player or coach I'm usually spot on. That angers people lol. The beauty of all this is will see some improved WR play right? I don't troll. People troll them selves because they take a perceived slight or criticism personally. Its all gravy to me.

Over 9,000
Quote:Lol hell no! Arob was a diva and gave up on a few plays but I would too if my qb was throwing boomerangs like Blake.
Hurns regressed also. And A-Rob did drop some decent thrown passes.

Not enough experience?
You do know McCardell played in the NFL at a Pro Bowl level and finished his career with over 11,000 yards before he started coaching, right?
So he knows the position of WR...right?
What you are saying is he can't effectively communicate what he knows about the position to other people.
Is that about right?

But this isnt even the point you were at lol
The reasonable response that youre describing here would be finding out he did in fact have a job with the redskins and saying "well im skeptical that is enough experience but well see"
You jumped straight to "He was bad at this job i just found out he did 5 minutes ago". No ones mad that youre criticism has been proven right before(kudos on this btw sounds super cool bro). You literally just went in the most unreasonable direction and are now pretending youre being cool lol
For the time Keenan McCardell was with the Redskins the QBs were Rex Grossman and John Beck featuring a WR corps of a washed up Santana Moss, David Anderson, Anthony Armstrong, Terrence Austin, Jabar Gaffney, Brandon Banks, and Donte Stallworth. Not exactly stellar talent to work with IMO.
Keenan's experience is right up there on my list of things to not worry about.
