Quote:Right that's been established. And how did it go? British didn't answer because he admittingly doesn't have a clue.

I don't know. How did it go?
Quote:But this isnt even the point you were at lol

The reasonable response that youre describing here would be finding out he did in fact have a job with the redskins and saying "well im skeptical that is enough experience but well see"

You jumped straight to "He was bad at this job i just found out he did 5 minutes ago". No ones mad that youre criticism has been proven right before(kudos on this btw sounds super cool bro). You literally just went in the most unreasonable direction and are now pretending youre being cool lol

Well said.

ThunderCat said he didn't have any experience but he did.

End of story.

Now he is saying he was bad at the job he didn't know about. Either way, he had experience.

Who the [BAD WORD REMOVED] are you to tell me what's reasonable or not? I don't conform to your line of thinking. Keenan got fired years ago from a job that he had for a short time and I didn't remember. Sue me.

Wrong, I said he didn't have enough. But don't worry I wont make it a thing to badger about for the whole thread. Regardless, its a very underwhelming thing going from Sully to Keenan. We should've kept Sully and that's the bottom line. We had one of the best experienced WR coaches in our building and we let him go. Its a damn shame too. Now we gotta hope Keenan can make his second job in the NFL worth while.

Quote:Hopefully he's learned a thing or two about coaching up their in Maryland. Better than hiring that crack head jimmy so that's a positive. I'm not sure going from Sully to Keenan was a net positive but hopefully Keenan can have some influence on the squad. Not much he can teach Hurns since his strength is route running but will see.
Hey admin.  How many times does this guy get a pass for the rough comments on jimmy.  Post in and post out.

Just shut up, dude. You're not getting anywhere with anyone here with that garbage attitude of yours. You don't like the hire? DEAL WITH IT, clown.
Quote:Keenan didn't do squat for the redskins. Stop acting so hurt. He doesn't have the tenure either way. Lol bunch of butt hurt homers up in here.

The 2010 Redskins receivers set a franchise record with 349 receptions.

The 2011 group caught 346 for over 4,000 yards.

With sub-par talent.

Also guessing this guy Coughlin knows a bit more about identifying coaching talent than you.

But, hey, just my opinion.

I'm not sure Sully wanted to stay on as he's been on record talking about retirement. Last year, as I understand it, Gus talked him into delaying retirement.

Who knows. Keenan might have some fresh stuff to offer.
overall , i think it could be a good hire for our WRs.....someone they can learn the position from that was very successful playing it.

OTOH - Why does it seem most every move/hire made by Marrone and TC seem to start a fight here?

What the heck is goin to happen when we get to cleaning up the roster, the draft and free agency?

All out wars?

The only time.... and I do mean only time.... I've ever seen this board agree on anything is Gus being fired.

It's always arguing and bashing each other.
Quote:Oh that failed stint in DC? Did he even finish the second season? Really who's gonna follow Keenan's failed attempt at coaching in the NFL unless your some nostalgic blind homer.

oops

Also the articles I've seen say he was fired in 2012, which would indicate he did finish the second season.

He wanted to retire moron. It's a WR coach. How many Superbowls did we win with Sullivan? Grow a pair and try to spend today being less of a moron.

Wow some of yall got some pent up anger. Does it hurt you're sugar britches?
It's hard to upgrade from Sullivan, but it's obviously a cool thing having McCardell back. Hopefully he can help to get ARob and Hurns back on track and continue to develop Lee.

Was it ever confirmed Sully retired? If so well thems the breaks I guess.

Hopefully. Just because I'm not big on the hire doesn't mean I don't want him to succeed. He's the coach now and Ill support.

At this point I'm convinced you're just hitting random keys.
Man, you people need to breathe a little. It's a WR coach. Everting gonna be alright.

I'm alright just sipping on my coffee.
I say good. Maybe Thunder can bring something new. It was either Sully or it is our talent. One or the other, but either way we just didn't see our receivers gaining hardly any separation on a regular enough basis IMO. Either poor coaching or not enough talent. Which was it?
