Quote:I say good. Maybe Thunder can bring something new. It was either Sully or it it is our talent. One or the other, but either way we just didn't see our receivers gaining hardly any separation on a regular enough basis IMO. Either poor coaching or not enough talent. Which was it?

It had everything to do with Gus's lack of discipline and the players not believing in the QB or culture. This was not on Sullivan.
Two thumbs up !!

It's the wr's set of skills Robinson has proved to not handle physical corners to me and gets lazy on the route once he's frustrated and he's not the fastest guy.
I'm glad they brought him in.  Let's see what he can do with our talented young pass catchers.

You might be onto something here, but ARob is still tremendously talented. If McCardell can just show him a few of moves when it comes to handling physical corners, he just might bust out again like he did in 2015.

Sullivan should retire.

How do you know they didn't believe in the QB? Did they show it base on wr's like allen robinson couldn't beat a simple jam from the line of scrimmage or did hurn's drops gave it away. How do you know they didn't believe in the QB since you have more access in the locker room than the rest of us on the message board? I hate when people like you put out misinformation without any facts behind it.

Its not that hard to understand when you have WRs giving up on routes because they know the QB wont get them the ball. Hey if my opinions and observations bother you, don't read me. Simple as that.
He might help this team but then again, perhaps he won't.  That's just my opinion.
Sullivan was retired when we brought him back from it.  I'm sure he's not displeased by going back to retirement.

A quitting WR says more about his character than anything it could possibly say about his QB.  Let's not make lame excuses for quitters, especially those who blame fans for being upset if the team isn't winning for them.

Not sure what there's to dislike bringing in McCardell.  Great guy, knows what he's doing, part of the family.  Has worked a lot with young players (UMD.)

ARob should be excited he has Keenan as a resource. He was always one of the best at the nitty gritty of receiving and getting off press etc etc. That's somewhere where Arob has struggled a ton.

Well put Copernicus.

Well this is a tough stance.

you could be right but then again, you could be wrong. Imho

It is what it is.
The teal in my blood loves this hire; but we won't know for sure how good or bad it is for a couple years most likely. But I love we have brought Keenan back to Jville!
I like the hire. The WRs got all they were going to get out of Sullivan. Fresh eyes and perspective may do wonders.

This might bode well for Hurns as I see him and Keenan as somewhat similar receivers. Not the fastest but smart and willing to make the tough catches.

Hoping for Hurns to earn his paycheck this season.

Stop being so sensitive especially when you're trolling just for the fun of it
If you go to work tomorrow and you have a different supervisor, chances are your still gonna perform the same, give or take.

Arob, Hurns, and Lee know how to play football. If anything McCardell has playing experience in some big games against the best CBs. Jerry Sullivan was a wiley veteran coach.
