And the answer to your question is as many as it takes.

Quote:Coming from the previously depressed over confident and cocky fans now?Exactly
Quote:That was apparent.

Quote:Because the same things were being said.
Quote:They were not.

Quote:Well then why did you ask?

Quote:You really shouldn't hit your head like that. Follow along. I was talking to another person who brought more/new information about the strength of schedule. This isn't too hard to grasp. As long as it takes referencing other posters who may be arguing said position, not the same poster.Yes. Like I said before. I get this.
Quote:Yes. Like I said before. I get this.same
Quote:They were not was in reference to another poster eyestorm posting different information.Yes sir.
Quote:http://www.fbschedules.com/2014/04/2014-...aa-method/.I'm a little confused about that 71-79 number you keep saying is Alabama's opponents W/L record. Is that opponents W/L record from last year? I only ask because the top link you provided is an article from April.
FSU - 47th
Alabama - 95th
Granted, there are others that have them much higher. As you know, you can make stats say what you want. But what I did find interesting was their opponents combined record of 71-79.
http://www.gberatings.com/sos/
FSU - 69th
Alabama - 33rd
There are other rankings that have them higher.
I know, I know, the SEC beats up on each other...

Quote:You know what, I think I may have made a mistake. Lol, I saw April, but I thought it was updating it throughout the year. Then looked at the comments and the last post was from April as well...

Quote:I'm confused once again by your numbers. I'm far from being a mathematician and please point out any errors if you see them. You can't count WVU with 7 wins. They only played two games in division 1. They are 0-2. Come on now.
WVU 7-5
FAU 3-9
S.Miss 3-9
UF 6-5
Ole Miss 9-3
ARK 6-6
T A&M 7-5
TENN 6-6
LSU 8-4
MSU 10-2
WCU 7-5
AUB 8-4
= 80-63
Now playing devil's advocate let's throw out the records of the 2 worst teams they played (which were non-con because the SECW is hands down the division in the FBS) that W/L record becomes 74-45 nearly 30 games over .500.
I did the same for FSU whose opponents W/L was 72-70. Taking away WF and Syracuse (conference opponents whose record was 3-9) I came up with 66-52 a paltry 14 games over .500.
I think I'm still in the camp of Alabama having at least a top 5 SOS this year.

Quote:You can't count WVU with 7 wins. They only played two games in division 1. They are 0-2. Come on now.Ok let's do that. Their record is 61-58 3 games over .500. If I do the same for FSU the record becomes 54-64 10 games under .500.
If you take out 2 of the easiest then you should also take out two of the hardest. Not sure why taking out two of their easiest opponents makes your argument more accurate.

Quote:I've already state bama has a harder schedule. I just don't think it is anywhere near top 5. Crazy talk!Since you won't come up with anything other "top 5 schedule that's crazy talk" to back up your argument (proven to be WAY outdated with the link you provided) I guess we just agree to disagree.
