He has to get better.

The guy stinks. Most of this team stinks, so he fits right in.

I mean guys get beat on pass plays, and hes still young so I can see him missing tackles due to not having enough time in the weight room, but the angles this guy takes are really bad, I feel like you should be able to judge that naturally and the fact that he can't is incredibly disheartening at this point. I would say bring in competition if we didn't have so many needs, so Ill say that I would not shy away from spending a high pick or big money on the position in the slightest to wait and hope for him to improve.

he took another terrible angle on the 17 yard Rashad Jennings TD, and had a few other missed tackles, but he did have a nice hit on the sidelines once and played decent overall.

Decent, not great, but he at least didn't bite on some long TD this time.

It's time to think about other options at the position. Not immediately but next year he needs some pressing competition, he looks down right awful too often.

He may be covering for some really bad linebackers and getting out of position. To me, that's the Defensive weakness, these LB's are.. not good.

I wouldn't call him a bust, but he does often disappoint...

Cyp's Ph.D in Geometry should be revoked because of his failure at figuring out angles.

 

Seriously, I started really noticing his issues a bit later than most here.  I only started hearing small warning signals after the Cowboy game.  Now there are red flags the size of by TV being waved all over my house...

 

To say that Cyp's play has fallen off and is concerning would be an understantement.

He just sucks.  The excuse makers need to realize this

Agreed.  I don't think the LBs are to blame.  Yes there are moments where the coverage of the LBs is off.  But it's not a consitent thing.  Gratz getting burned and Cyp being out of position are at issue way more than LBs, in my opinion...
