You want FSU to win a national title? Why not root for the best possible way for them to do so. A strong ACC means a strong/er FSU, and a stronger ACC/FSU gives them a smoother road to the playoffs. Instead of wondering why FSU keeps dropping in the playoff picture over the weeks, they'd probably still be #1 with a stronger conference, an undefeated Florida, etc.
Instead of wondering if FSU will be kept out of the playoff with a loss, they can rest easy and know that wouldn't be the case with a better conference/schedule. The SEC didn't have to worry about that.
I cannot hope UF is undefeated, no. Logically that makes sense, but I'm just telling you how I feel. When florida loses, my day is a little brighter because of it.
But FSU has a better chance going to the playoffs the route they are on. It doesn't matter if we are 1, 2, 3 or 4. We can rest easy now (well that is if we beat GT which is certainly not a given).
