Tied up game late in the 3rd.  Not really getting the feeling that FSU is in danger.  But who knows.

 

The surprising thing to me is how easily BC is running the ball.  It seems like most of the FSU games I've watched their secondary was the weak link but the front 7 and especially the dline was strong.  And looking ahead to next week, I said in the other thread I thought it's a bad matchup for the Gator because they cant throw it.  But if BC can run this well, maybe Florida will be able to as well.  And I think Florida's defense is better than BC's.  

im sure fsu will wind up winning by two scores from late in the 4th quarter or something. these teams hang but they dont have the depth to carry them late into the game like fsu does.

Yea if I were going to bet money on who wins you have to think FSU will pull it out.

 

Thinking about future weeks though, again, I'm sure how BC has been able to run.  They arent gashing them for 20+ yards a pop or going to end up with 300+ yards rushing.  But they are consistently churning out 4-5 yards it seems like.  Even without the threat of pass.  And FSU still has Florida coming up who is a running team.  Then GaTech who is a running team.  And assuming they clear those hurdles, wouldnt surprise me to see them end up with Oregon in the first round of the playoffs.  Thats a lot of rushing attacks to stop.

Just want to point out again the problem with allowing conference champs an automatic bid.  This is a really tight and exciting game.  This game is HUGE.  But if you allow conference champs in the playoffs this game becomes absolutely irrelevant.

BC needs a TD on this drive.  You have to imagine FSU will score a TD on their next drive.  And when BC gets the ball back, not sure if theyll have enough time to score.

what was that playcall on 2nd down?  BC probably just lost the game.

I think people already know the poll is a joke. The announcers even said the committee has people confused by their ranking standards.

i honestly think at this point a logical and objective mind could understand why fsu would be left out.

ya know, honestly, the reaction would be nuts, but if you are truly trying to select the 4 best, I dont see how anyone with a straight face that isnt an FSU fan can tell you that the Noles are one of the 4 best teams in the country right now.  they just arent.  Every good team is going to have some tight games against average or middle of the pack programs.  But this is week after week.  This isnt one bad game or one opponent playing over their head.  This is a consistent theme. 

 

now obviously the committee isnt picking the 4 best.  they are picking the 4 best mixed with who "deserves" to be top 4.  I dont care how they look or who they play, if you are in one of the power conferences and are undefeated, you are a lock.
