Breaking

I just see this as a good thing. His offenses in Philly were amazing. He failed on defense, management, and personnel decisions. As an OC... oh, boy. I just feel like he's a One and done guy
Please, no.  Link?

<p class="" style="font-size:16px;"><a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Jaguars?src=hash'>#Jaguars</a>[Image: NFL_Season_2016_JAX.png] are interviewing OC candidates and Chip Kelly is one, as <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/HaysCarlyon'>@hayscarlyon</a> said. Incumbent Nathaniel Hackett expected to get one, too.

Wonder who else is on the list.

As if our offense has had such problems at hurrying up to get off the field.
This guy is a cancer and has a strong agenda. I'm shocked this is even an option.

Yeah, it's shocking that a great offensive mind is an option as an offensive coordinator.

Please... great offensive mind that's gone no where...

I have no reason to agree with that.  But his gimmicky offense has been exposed in the NFL.  I can't see TC signing off on that.  But who knows?

It just flat out doesn't work and it's like deflating to a team in a way. Bortles would probably be his best QB he's had to work with in the NFL, but goodness it just hasn't worked at all.
I'll just leave this here:

Quote:"He just keeps running the same [BLEEP] and it isn't fooling anybody," one NFL executive said. "Do you think they could bring him back to Oregon?"

Get ready for some predictable offense.

Last time I checked he went 10-6  straight to the playoffs with Nick Foles at quarterback his first year as a head coach, and went to top 5 offenses in both his first two years as a head coach. HC =/= OC.
It's not like every play of his is some convoluted reverse or statue of liberty play.  He wasn't a bad coach either.  49ers probably should have hung on for a while since he had no talent to work with there.

Low risk, high reward. I like it. If he fixes Blake, the Jaguars are a playoff team and he's a head coach again. If the offense stinks or he turns out to be a locker room disaster, fire him, during the season if necessary, and plug Hackett back in as the OC. I'm assuming Hackett stays around as the QB coach regardless, given his history with Morrone.

If you think the run game was stuck in the mud last year, wait until Chip gets ahold of it.
I think people are bias against Kelly because they don't want his style of offense in the NFL but lets actually look at this. He had a top 5 offense in both his first two years as HC. In the third year it dropped to 15 because he jettisoned all the talent. This year he was in SF with Blaine Gabbert starting for half the season. There is absolutely nothing to actually suggest his offense doesn't work other than ornery NFL execs who don't want a fresh mind outside their coaching tree bubbles on their lawn.

Look at the offense numbers in the years Kelly coached, compared to the years before and after. It sure looks like it works.

The 49rs were 4th in rushing yards this year.
