Quote:I liked the "just get better" thing our first two years. With an awful+young squad I thought it was a good idea to keep things on track. Problem was in year 3+4 when the wins were there but there was no urgency to reach out and grab it.

Quote:The assumption you make is that no one really has a dumb opinion, opinions that are in opposition are just "different".  Don't buy it anymore.  At a certain point people are just being downright silly.  At least give the current decision makers a chance to make a difference before pronouncing it a failure and heading to the Modis Building to end it all.
I agree in principle, though I'm not sure this particular debate qualifies.

It's not as though this team just barely missed the playoffs these last four years.

I can see people wanting a completely clean break from such a spectacular level of failure.
Quote:Nahhh.. lol.. I mean to call 70% of fans that oppose the Marrone hire dumb, is dumb in itself.. people need to learn to respect people's opinion, even if it's contrary to their owns.
You just gained a ton of my respect.

At the end of the day we're all jags fans, we all want to win.

We just have different opinions

To paraphrase George Carlin, imagine the average American; half of them are dumber than that.

I can see people wanting radical change, but I'm not sure having just three or four guys from the previous staff in different positions doesn't qualify as radical change.  Moreover if someone would say the Jags should just cut all their players and start over from scratch, I wouldn't say that's a perfectly understandable opinion and I respect it, I'd tell 'em they were crazy.
