Quote:I had this same feeling but through all of the turmoil this year, i see a silver lining.  The team is young with multiple promising young players on both sides of the ball.  FA and the draft happen every year and this isn't the same type of roster needing a complete overhaul like the 06-07 team that started the free fall.  Have Faith Go Jags

I do as well. I still think we are on track to be competitive next year. It's just that I expected our losses to be more competitive looking than the last game.
Quote:Yes. That's what I'm choosing to focus on.  Of players on the roster 25 or younger - There is hope to be had in the following:

 Abry Jones

That's a lot of young potential.  If 6 of the 13 guys in that first list turn out to be quality starters going forward things will begin looking better IMO.

I think Abry Jones has pretty solidly outplayed Ziggy Hood so far this year. He's a good looking young player.

True. I just hope that rerun isnt broadcast this year.

I agree.  Its testing to have high hopes for even marginal improvement after a horrid season and then be force fed similar results with the same incapable starter at QB.  Henne is a pro and i respect him but unless ppl are hoping he wakes up from a dream, even with a superb line and decent talent what are posters expecting from him.  He'll always be average and never consistent enough to be somebody, so why smother fans with talk of hope when our QB will crash and burn the dream whether the entire team improves this year or not.  No playoffs is cool; but stop the sideshow so we can believe with Blake and if we lose, we can still keep more dignity than the Henne show leaves us.
