Quote:I'm not listening to the conference just keeping up on Twitter. Sounds like he has left the window open.
I'd say it's more of a "tried to close the door but it didn't close all the way" opening.
Don't worry. The Jags will become a competitive team after the BYE week.

I have a sneaky suspicion that we will only become competitive when we're "on the clock"
Would it be inappropriate to boo Gus Bradley when Henne takes the field? Never mind I know what 50% of you are going to say.

That's who I would boo if I was going to do it. I'm not going to boo Chad, he's only doing what he's asked to do. Granted he's not doing it very well but we knew that would happen. Gus and crew are the ones that chose to keep him and have chosen him to be the guy. Blame them.
Did you all expect anybody but "Chad the Man Henne" to start.
Gus has a lot of problems to fix before throwing the rookie into the mix. And yes we will win some games or maybe they will just tank the season. Either way I will go to the game(s) since I paid for it, have an over priced ( at least its cold) beer and watch the games to see our team get eating up and maybe they'll pull one win, and then we'll all start talking about the playoffs. B)

Good theory except losing is like a stench that hangs on... It is long term devastating to keep waiting for the future. Sure the front office needs to work towards the future but the coaching staff that preaches best players needs to stand up and move forward.
Quote:The best thing that can happen on Sunday is a blowout like yesterday, increases the chances of Bortles starting.
No, the best thing that can happen on Sunday is Blake Bortles starts.

Do most people have you on ignore here?

But he's not starting, didn't you just listen to the Bradley press conference.

He tries really, really hard to get noticed

If you boo, you would be booing Chad Henne because he is the one playing.
But yes, it would be inappropriate to boo Sunday because Henne is not the only player screwing up on the field.

Gus Bradley's comments appear to leave the door open to changing his mind later in the week.

Seems like 99% of his posts are trolling.

We'll see. But I doubt it.
Delusional me says that Gus isn't being very committed. It means that Bortles will eventually get the start, and Gus just doesn't want to play his hand. Let the Dolts gameplan for Henne. then BOOM Surprise. Bortles starts. The Dolts are unprepared.
Rational me says that Delusional me has a better shot at getting Kate Upton to marry whoever on this board sucks up to me the most. And that Henne will start, and will play the entire game, barring significant injury.
Look for me at Sunday's game when I streak on the field to sack Henne. The Colts won't be the only one's getting their hands on him.

Insanity later.
Week 5 it is, just 2 more games with Henne...1 1/2 at most
