I'm sitting here with a torn tendon in my ankle which has kept me out of work for 4 months and for some reason I'm begging the wifey to get tickets for the game Sunday knowing Chad Henne is most likely going to be the starter. is there something wrong with me? I could just as easily sit in the AC and watch the game in beautiful hi-def for free but instead I'm contemplating hobbling around downtown and being in debt to my wife (yikes!). I'm I a hopeless fan? A glutton for punishment? Need to be Baker-Acted?
Quote:Delusional me says that Gus isn't being very committed. It means that Bortles will eventually get the start, and Gus just doesn't want to play his hand. Let the Dolts gameplan for Henne. then BOOM Surprise. Bortles starts. The Dolts are unprepared.
Rational me says that Delusional me has a better shot at getting Kate Upton to marry whoever on this board sucks up to me the most. And that Henne will start, and will play the entire game, barring significant injury.
You are not delusional. Gus Bradley basically said Chad Henne is the default starter until he sees the film and looks at everything. So he will figure out this week Henne's a big part of why we got blown out at Washington and the time to change is now.
I feel like I've been swindled for all my shekels by the merchants. This season had me sold, no way we could be worse than the last. Improvements were coming!
Wow was I wrong. Somethings missing...

Are you on crutches? If so, you need to stay home. Do you have a lower level seat? If not, you should stay home. It is not worth making your ankle tendon worse.
I can't handle Henne for 2 more games. Shoot me now.
Chad performed like crap, and that was against a less talented team than Indy. This is going to be a game we'll never forget...in a very bad way.

Not on crutches but I have a bulky brace that makes walking around a little better. I haven't been able to buy season tickets for a few years now but I HATE to miss home openers. Just something about that first home game......

Actually you were right. Someday Gus Bradley is going to bname Blake Bortles the starter.

A bulky brace is fine, but you might want some assistance up to your seat.
He's on the sideline. And he needs film to see Henne make horrible throws and have a -87 pocket presence? Cool.

don't know about that, Indy's defense is not that good
Quote:Look for me at Sunday's game when I streak on the field to sack Henne. The Colts won't be the only one's getting their hands on him.
I'm not sure you'll stand out considering all of the other unblocked guys there will be crushing Henne.

Assistance is for sissies! :-) Besides I only get a few chances a year to whip out these bad boys.
Never mind can't upload my photo for some reason.
Where is TMD? Did he get banned again?
Also... I like Blake.

Where is TMD indeed? He should be all over this.
Quote:Please tell me he didn't actually say this.
He did. I have a feeling that some jaws dropped after that one.
Quote:If you boo, you would be booing Chad Henne because he is the one playing.
But yes, it would be inappropriate to boo Sunday because Henne is not the only player screwing up on the field.
You get wooshed more than anybody else I've ever seen. He wasn't even trying to do it and he still wooshed you.
I might watch the first half on Sunday after that I'll probably find something else to do. Week 3 usually it takes at least 5 games to suck the life out of me, congrats Jags you did it in 2 weeks.

I could never boo the team under any circumstances although I do sit sullenly when they play badly. Well, except if they moved to London or LA, then I'd boo for sure.

You may actually be a latent NASCAR fan. From what I understand of it many NASCAR fans watch the races so they can see the wrecks. If you wish to go to this game solely because Henne will be the man under center behind our current line then you are definitely going just to see the pending disaster.
On the other hand if you have not been to the stadium since they did the remodel I highly recommend it. The view of the new screens from your average seat is about like the view you get of a 60" TV from 10 feet away. It really is impressive and when things do come together for this team it will be a spectacular venue to watch them in. As for myself, I will be there because I have tickets. I can't guarantee that I will be in my seat if the game get;s away from us though. Both endzones now have places where it will probably be cooler than my seat in addition to the NFL Redzone on TV screens.
