I don't get why people are worried about him throwing a bunch of Interceptions.

I get wanting to not have him lose confidence after getting rattled too much because of the O-line.  But Peyton Manning threw 28 interceptions in his first year. Favre threw 20+ ints a number of times.

Yep, I'd rather have him keep the gunslinger mentality rather than evolve into yet another friggin game manager.

I'm not worried about interceptions. Let Blake make 'em and learn, just like Peyton and other 'slingers.

The problem is we have fans on this board that have been brainwashed by the likes of having ultra conservative philosophy from the head coach for a good 10 years here (2003-2012) and they always preached for the QB to make the safe play above all else, so now we have a generation of Jags fans that think thats the way to do it.

i give him an F+.

You sure do have a lot of complaints about the fans of this team
When Gabbert was at his "best" one would say he directed the offense and got the ball to his receivers on time and accurately. What Bortles has done so far is next-level stuff, the things you wanna see from a 3rd overall pick - throwing the ball down the field, hitting the 2nd and 3rd reads, looking off the safety and moving in the pocket while keeping eyes downfield.
Bortles was great. Let him develop. I still don't trust the offensive lineman. But if he can hang and bang back there in the pocket. Let him play football the way he likes to play it. I still trust Caldwell and Bradley's decision. Personally, if Henne absolutley stinks it up on the road in Philadelphia and Washington I believe Bortles gets the nod in week three here at home and that's the beginning of his era. If Henne manages to keep the games close though, and maybe somehow goes 1 - 1 on the road. It's still his job.

I realize this thread is for BB5's grade but I have breaking news on Henne's grade below.
