Quote:Well we already know what kind of fans there are up that way. When the colts were bad in 2011 the stadium was pretty empty.

How lucky for them the league gave them another 15 years of continual success. Without it the team would probably be talked about for relocation to LA in the near future.

You're kidding, right? Or trolling? Why do Jag fans love to talk about stuff they know nothing about?

I'm a season ticket holder and the Colts were sold out all of 2011. They've been sold out for many years in a row.

Hilarious that a JAGS fan is questioning fans in Indy  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

They sold out before they knew they'd be bad, then they had trouble selling out in the subsequent year when it wasn't a given that they'd be good.

Like I said, it's easy to sell tickets to a winner, and you're fortunate to be one. Given the fair weather nature of your fans I don't doubt you guys would be competing for worst attendance in the league if you were coming off of years of futility with no immediate hope in sight.

You're really not very bright, are you?

THEY SOLD OUT. They've been selling out for years in a row now. In your original post you said "the stadium was pretty empty"... After realizing you were flat out wrong you're changing your story.

You make this too easy, really.  Laughing

When did I say you hadn't sold out? I said your stadium was pretty empty. In other words people cared so little about the team (fair weather) that they didn't bother to show up even though they had already bought tickets.

Once again, you don't know what you're talking about...

As someone who went to every game in 2011, the stands were 90-100% full every game. Even on the low end (90%) wouldn't classify as "pretty empty".

I guess the same reason Colts fans love to talk about stuff they know nothing about?

If you're talking specifically me, please show me where I've done that.

I only post on this board when it's Colts related.

And you obviously have no idea what you're talking about in this thread.

Game, set, match.
Indianapolis is the most bandwagon jumping town I have ever seen.  I lived there for YEARS so I DO know what I am talking about.  Remember the old empty Hoosier dome?  The RCA dome before the couple of good Harbaugh years?   Suddenly the city is filled with "Life long Colts fans".  Evidently most of the city was born after 1998.

Claiming that city ISN'T a fair weather town is a flat out lie.

Tarps.
Quote:Tarps.
Even with tarps, the capacity is still bigger than the old and new Indy barn dome.

And?

No point in bragging if you can't fill it.
Quote:Tarps.

What tarps? You talking about the pools and biggest video screens on the planet?
Don't feed the troll.

I'm sure clotswarrior will let enough posts accumulate to where he "missed" this one, and ignore it.

Pre Peyton, the Colts didn't fill the barn, either.

And they had such confidence in their fair weather fans that when they built a new stadium they made it small.  Colts fans talking trash over attendance is laughable.  The Jags have had a bad team for the past few years, while the Colts (with one Tank year as an exception) have been a playoff team.  Look back from 2010 through last season and the colts average a whopping 3,000 more fans per season than the Jags. Yeah, I can certainly see why they talk trash.

Colts fans are pathetic.

Oh yeah.... Forgot about that pool... How's that coming along?

Might as well be doing something while your team is doing nothing.

Jealousy is so unbecoming.

Tip any nice cows lately?
