CS is just going to be a player who just constantly has injury problems. It is going to continue to happen so you all might as well expect it.
It's not a matter of IF with him, it's a matter of WHEN and HOW LONG will he be out.
You really should keep him for now, but no way do you give him a big multi year contract.
Did I mention he was just a very injury prone player?
And they're going to give him a big contract?
Quote:LOL....I remember being bashed for saying to trade this guy if we get an opportunity...also was bashed for not wanting to throw a large multi year contract at him...
Maybe if he was a junkie you would want to hold on to him.

Stay classy.
If he had the type of skill that Blackmon has, then yeah. Unfortunately, Shorts can only dream to have as much talent as Blackmon.

was this post meant to be negative towards me? i hope not, since you're a Moderator, and i'm pretty sure it violates the super-secret Mod code.

The fact you have to ask only affirms the general message of my post.
And how would you know it violates the Mod Code, as you say; it's super-secret. Even if you somehow gained access to the document it is useless to all who don't have a Limited Edition March 1993 Bart Simpson Cheerios super-secret decoder ring.

i bet you feel real safe behind your super-powers.....
Solid player that is just injury prone. His durability is a big issue.

I know what you mean but that reminds me
"injury prone" those two words remove responsibility from where it should lay...coaches and or player.

He has a skill set that Blackmon doesn't posses... that skill set is a brain that works...

I don't think responsibility has anything to do with it, it's a fact. The concussions just can't be avoided. It does make me wonder why certain players are more prone to this. You have many HOF receivers who rarely got hurt and have very long careers. It's either they are better at detecting it or some other factor.
Cutting him is stupid but I damn sure wouldn't pay him jack. I can guarantee he wont play all 16 this year. I'm willing to take being wrong on this.
Lol at people complaining about an injury that shouldn't cause him to miss any time at all.
It's just precautionary.

Not necessarily. Hamstring injuries, like groin injuries can linger and recur.
Are people still suprised football players can have multple injuries, during their careers?
Hurns moving up the depth chart day by day. Athletic, good hands, not injury prone.

Miles Austin is a prime example. He was out of all off-season and pre-season activities with hamstring problems and hadn't finished half of a season since he got paid.
Such a shame that he keeps having the injuries. By all accounts he does everything the right way. His frustration level must be at maximum.
