TC wouldn't sign him even as an UDFA.

Tremendous talent on the field. Woman beating moron off the field. Doesn't sound like someone Coughlin would want on his roster so I am ruling him out completely. He'll more than likely be stolen by a team like Oakland or Denver on day three and go onto have a decent career.

I wouldn't touch him.

Patriots - 2nd Round

There are a lot of other RBs of similar ability this year, but without the character concerns.
mixon is round 1 talent imo theres no one with similar ability

Stop pretending that you know TC

Yup, and he becomes the next great rb, future hall of famer.

Yeah... cuz they've had so many hall of fame RBs....

Come to think of it.... Other than Tom... who is a lock for the Hall of fame from recent teams?

A lot of D players from the dynasty years....

but... Edelman? Welker? Amendola?

Pats have made it their business to win with a bunch of regular dudes around Tom Terrific.

Occasionally they have rostered a star or two... but Gronk? Gotta stay healthy to get in the Hall.

Moss? He was going to the Hall without that one season just as much with it, imo....

If everyone that lands with the Pats is a future hall of famer....

who are the former players that are future hall of famers? Cast offs from other teams that went to the Pats and later became future HOFers?

Maybe I'm just dense and that's why I'm drawing a blank.
Quote:i would argue that the only running backs close or better than Mixon are Fournette and Cook.

I think Fournette and Cook are elite RB prospects, with Mixon close behind them.

then there is a significant gap before the rest of the RBs.

You forgot Christian McCaffrey, who is supposed to be a first round pick.

he's white, don't count

So what?

When did I say I know him? What everyone does know is TC doesn't put up with that trash. You think a guy who preaches discipline and character would let this guy even in the building?

We've had some rough years lately but I could always hang my hat on the fact that we aren't a bunch of scumbags.

Blackmon was but we got rid of him.

We don't need a Lawrence Phillips type around here. We can find another way to win.

Has anyone even watched the video here? The guy slammed this girl and ran like a coward.

Coughlin did sign Andre rison not a public woman beater but all the other issues. DC did bring in Greg hardy for a workout too. I agree the guy is a scum bag. I was just curious if he was there in the 7 the Rd do you take him?

He punched her once (after she pushes and slaps him) and walked away.

What did you want him to do? Stay there and throw another few punches while she's down?

Not follow her in.

Just leave.

Push her away.

Restrain her without throwing a punch.

All of these options were available and preferable to his choice.

Just to reiterate, he chose to hit a woman with full force in the face. I would rather not see him in a Jags uniform. I would rather not see even a small portion of my season ticket money go to him.
Hard to justify his actions no matter what. It's now a question of how big of a risk it is to draft him based off of this and his personality
