Lets all share tips and talk about goals for anything fitness related.

 

Anyone have any good tips for getting calves to grow? Mine are very, very stubborn.

Go heavy and do drop sets.

Starting this up again. Did it a while back and really enjoyed it.

Does running late count as exercise?

Haven't worked out in over a month..leg day is gonna suck.
Does cutting 1.5 acres with a push mower count?

it did suck Laughing especially since I didn't keep up with it for a month and it was all knee high. Cut, stop, unclog, restart, cut and repeat.

Arnold is famous for his once lacking calves, and says that genetics seem to have a bigger role in being able to have big calves.That being said, In a Muscle and Fitness article I read, it says he trained them 3 times a week.

Calves have been notorious for being hard to develop.

I trained all the time in my 20's/ early 30's and the calves would hardly change at all....

 

I don't train much anymore, but gained about 20-25 lbs over my weight at 30, and suddenly, my calves look the best that they ever have.

it must be the shoes....
Anybody here supplement? A routine of Whey Protein, Creatine and Glutamine will have you absolutely shredded in about 12 weeks.
