This is hard to argue against. I think Henne is capable of increasing those stats with a completely revamped receiving corp, but will it happen is another story.
My prediction for Henne is he maintains the starting role for the year and plays all 16 games..
3100 yards. 22 TD's and 14 INT's.. Now whether or not that prediction is actually giving Henne some credit, that's another topic for discussion.
Henne has never thrown more TDs then Ints in a season, never had a above .500 record in a season as a starter. He is a good backup nothing more, and when Bortles is ready he will start, it's all about him not Henne he is just keeping the seat warm.

It's all about the starter and until Henne loses that starting position, which will eventually happen, it IS about him because he's the starter.
Sometime this year Bortles will take the job this I'm sure of just a matter of when.

It all depends on Blake, if he progresses quickly in the preseason I believe he can win the job by the first game.

How much was those 3200 yds was in garbage time when Henne becomes a king and teams take their foot off the brakes to save their players from injuries. Henne is a fraud and the sooner blake bortles take over the job the better off this franchise will be big picture because there's no upside with henne at qb.

there is upside if the team is playing well around Henne and it's giving Bortles time to develop.

Henne isn't even a top 40 QB imo. Hes a low end 2nd stringer or a high end 3rd stringer.
I'd even go so far to say that Bortles right now is better but isn't worth putting out there to risk his overall growth. Especially in a season where we likely won't taste the playoffs. Its the only reason I am putting up with this garbage dump at the QB position.

It's this mindset that's really ridiculous. I'm not sure where all the Henne hate comes from, but to say he's a third string QB is probably one of the more ignorant things I've seen in a while.
