Quote:So I'm a little curious about what their plan is with the Aaron Colvin pick. I love it and think he could definitely play CB, but part of me wouldn't mind if they gave him a legit look at FS next season. I'm not sold on Guy or Evans as our starting FS. I'm all for letting them straight up prove me wrong and win the job this season while Colvin heals up. But there's a part of me that thinks maybe he (Colvin) could be that rangy single high FS we need for this scheme.

I didn't even consider Colvin at FS.

The idea is very intriguing.
I love the draft but how can you say it's best ever when they haven't played yet lol

This draft is nothing but homeruns. No base hits baby. I see star potential in every single pick except the center and that's because he's a center.

This team has a vibe about it night now that is his fun to be apart of.
Caldwell proved to me he has an eye for talent. This is the best draft I personally remember since the Bengals 2011 draft. Value and impact players all through the draft. The only thing left to rival that year is a excellent pick up in UDFA

Yea, after the pick I was really thinking about it. Maybe I'm just over thinking it, but he's suppose to be an aggressive, instinctive guy with good range and ball skills. He doesn't have the fastest long speed, but good instincts can make up for that.

Has some experience at SS, so he has played some Safety. Obviously we'd be asking him to do different things as our single high FS, but it's still some Safety experience.

He isn't the biggest guy in the world, so I don't really see him being an outside corner. The Nickle would be his ideal spot if we keep him at CB, but the above just screams out what we need in our FS.

If that is true then I would say this team can make the playoffs this year. Honestly my expectations were low but I legitimately see 5-7 impact players in this draft. Coupled with an easy schedule my expectations are heightened a little.
Who is christian Jones?

Fla St LB, teammate of Smith
IMO Jones is the better LB out of the two...

Craig Loston, Christian Jones, Damian Copeland and Rashaad Reynolds.

I like it.

To me, the odds of us contending increase the quicker the o line gels.
It is crazy what a difference a few guys can do to turn around a franchise. I loved the Weavers but Mr. Khan has been incredible since after his first year. Also Dave and Gus are molding the Jags into something special. It is a good time to be a Jags fan.

I think the online will gel rather quickly due to the fact that we have guys that fit the scheme. Its plug and play so the learning curve shouldn't be as deep.

I love Dave and Gus. I hope we can keep them long term. Amazing draft. I have complete faith
