Where are those doubters who wanted Watkins and Bridgewater, now?  I like our new combo better!

I'd rather have Bridgewater/Watkins, but I can live with Bortles/Lee.
Quote:Watkins just enough height and longer arms, with hands to go with them and is much and I mean much faster who also runs great routes

I feel better with a guy like Watkins against top corners than Lee

I wasn't really a fan of Watkins, and Lee is a step down, or maybe 2 from Watkins.

I prefer bigger WR that make big downfield plays and can takeover games like Megatron, Fitz, DeMaryuis Thomas,, The Bears duo, Vincent Jackson....etc etc.

Quote:I see a Stevie Smith in Lee. Could be a better player.

Steve Smith is VERY strong & very fast though, apples/ oranges.
Quote:is this a joke?

hes like 6'1 and is super long and lanky with great quickness and ran track at USC... he ran a 4.5 but is a true 4.4 guy on the field.. watch a single video of him

5'11  192  4.5 speed    maybe slow is the wrong word, but not as fast as you'd like a guy to be at the position.. Mike Thomas was built better than him
I know nothing about Lee since I don't watch college ball, but from the clips I just watched it looks like he has elite ball skills and natural elusiveness.  Strength and hands look good and he goes aggressively after the ball in the air.  Size is not ideal, but he plays bigger than his body as he seems ti take good angles to the ball and away from defenders.  Reminded me of Jimmy Smith at times with his ball skills and body control.  Looks like an excellent pick in an area of great need.  Is there something Watkins can do that Lee can't?

Marqise Lee = Reggie Wayne

Quote:Then why say he has character issues without knowing what you're talking about?

Wait. Never mind.

TMD... he is 6'0 .. since when is that small?

look at his broad jump, vert, shuttle, and a 4.43 combine number according to here

this kid is a stud
Quote:Lee doesn't have character issues? I thought I read something about drugs....but maybe I am mistaking him with another WR
Yeah, I think you are. He has a tremendous story, hard not to root for him. Grew up in a foster home.
I'm concerned with the lack of dreads

Yea, i thought the other numbers for Lee seemed inflated.

he is 6'0 .. stop making numbers up

he ran track at USC... he had a knee issue this past season and runs faster than a 4.5 just watch any video of him he outruns every single DB.. snatches balls out of the air at its high point, athletic, and on top of it is actually quick twitch which is MORE important than strait deep speed

this kid was a top 10 pick before USC's qbs and his injury's

this kid has chance to be better than watkins/evans

Well sure, who wouldn't want that? There was no one like that in this draft. And if you say Benjamin...
.

Far faster than Reggie Wayne ever was.
Quote:He was a projected first round draft pick and has pretty good hands.  I'm not sure where you're seeing a down side but I have to tell you Sammy Watkins wasn't available bro.
I can't understand "fans" who hate everything about the team.

These are good picks we can have optimism about.

I agree with this

As far as size and the way they play I think that is who he could be like
Quote:Yea, i thought the other numbers for Lee seemed inflated.

only numbers inflated are his ...

another site showing 6 foot and calling him a first rounder... hes got elite athleticism... look at his broad jump and vert... i believe both are better than watkins off the top of my head... tell me if im wrong
TMD, Matthews is not on the level of Calvin or Firzgerald. If Calvin was available at pick 39, the Jaguars would take him.

I think Lee's reasonable projection would be like a Dwayne Bowe or Miles Austin.

There are plenty a lot of big frames WRs drafted early that don't amount to anything (see: Reggie Williams).

I feel like this team has enough guys that are small/quick/ run after catch guys, so in that regard it doesn't make sense as I don't see Lewis staying around much longer , so where are the guys that can go up and get the ball in the Red Zone or a tight 3rd down or take away those bigger corners or block upfield or on the edge
