In b4 Mallett = GOAT

Pats are definately drafting a QB now.

Can I get a "I'm sorry TMD, you were right"?....

About what exactly?

Mallett getting traded. While yes, some did see it coming (around the league), this board had its contingent of Mallett haters, who acted like no one wanted him, and wouldn't give up anything for him in a trade.

I've maintained for years, ever since he was selected by the Patriots that he'd be flipped at a later date.

I responded in the other thread.
But you said they were tanking for Teddy, TMD.

Oops! :woot:

Too funny.
God, I hope they give up the farm to get him.  That will make his epic failure that much more entertaining to throw back at his biggest fanboy on this board.

Already addressed this over the past few days when someone said this in the Tank 4 Teddy thread.

How can you prove (with facts) that New England planned on "flipping" him?

I hope so too.

And I hope he fails there.

I don't want them to be successful.

But I do like Mallett and have always stuck by my opinion of him and that he'd eventually get some team to deal for him before his contract ran out.

You can't just make a bunch of predictions, then choose which one you say (Can I get a "I'm sorry TMD, you were right"?....

Well i guess you can, it's what you do.  And it's why you aren't taken seriously around here.

Tom Brady wasn't retiring or being traded before Mallett's contract was up.

The point was the Texans ultimately didn't "tank for Teddy" per se, (and I admitted wrong there in that aspect of the concept) but they still tanked for the concept, i.e. --the #1 pick--,  which ultimately gives them the most opportunities.

Again, go read what I said in that thread as I explained it. I don't need to go over it all again here.

Sure he can.  That's what he always does.  He'll simply ignore the times he is wrong, then demand apologies when he THINKS he's right.  When Mallet flames out in Houston, he'll avoid that topic as well, blaming it on the coordinators for not giving him a chance, or whatever the excuse might be.  Rest assured, he's always got excuses in his back pocket to do the Diva 2 step.

Oh i read it.  I read you twisting your argument like you always do.
LOL... no one's cared whether or not he'd get traded the entire time.

Gabbert was traded too.

Whoopie!

Doesn't make either a quality QB.  That's been the entire point all along.

Steelers traded for Leftwich...
