This Publix seems like a great supermarket.... They seemingly have everything and good quality. Unfortunately, none near me

i mean this is going pretty off topic here but that might not actually be a bad idea. i could probably make some really good crab meat sausage.....crazy enough to be good.

We are over 300 post on this thread and im sure its been off topic a few other times so i think we are good. Not sure about sausage crabmeat unless alot of cheese is involved

Wegmans, StopNShop, ShopRite, they all have them.  OM makes them.

Same for me in Oregon. Have a plethera of different grocery stores but none compare to the Publix. It really is a magical place.

Stop N Shop is or was probably the closest thing to Publix near me....and they closed/ changed over to something else. 

 

I liked that place and shopped there.

Stop & Shop is more like Winn Dixie than Publix.  The closest thing to Publix on a smaller scale is Whole Foods, and they're off the charts with their prices.  Publix has a much better shopping experience than any of the other big chains.  The closes I've ever seen is Harris Teeter, and even they weren't able to compete with Publix head to head.

Wegmans > Publix.  But they are both great IMO.

cheddar stuffed hot dogs are gross anyway.  Just melt some cheese on your hot dog bun if you are into that kind of thing.  fresh pico de gallo > cheese for a hot dog ANYDAY.

Find a way to infuse bacon into that concoction, and you may be on to something.

I've heard of Whole Foods, just never been there. Thats the first I've heard of Harris Teeter however.
