No surprise. If you look hard enough, you could probably find Robinson, Matthews, Mack, Watkins and Clowney linked to every team in the top 5.

Think he has any inside sources saying so? I've heard that the Teddy hate is a bit overblown with media and he doesn't make it out of top 20.
I'd guess it's just more speculation.

I just find it hard to believe Shad isn't directly made known of pretty much exactly what Caldwell / Gus are thinking regarding football matters, at all times. I think he does.

Yep, the teams that didn't want Mettenberger still don't want him, and the teams that do want him, prolly just view this as a way of getting him on sale.

Agreed - to a point.
I mean, if the QB was rated as the 34th best player in the draft and you select him at 3rd overall, well....yes, that still is a reach. If a player was a true franchise QB he almost certainly wouldn't be only ranked 34th.
Now, if the QB is rated as something like in the top 15 or so players and you still take him at 3, then I can agree with the above.

I highly doubt there lying. Khan trusts Dave and Gus to do the job and is probably also super busy. I doubt he is as in the loop as you think he is. He's not micromanaging here.
