Hmmm. Found this on the first page of this thread.. Granted I acted and commented before knowing all the facts, but now that I do, the punishment fit the crime committed and once punishment is complete, he'll be exonerated from his wrong doing in this case as it should be.. 

I think this diversion process is the right thing... technically he's go no record and it seems like they have a restitution process in place that both parties agree on.

 

At the same time where there's smoke there's fire.

 

He really needs an intervention so he realizes he's not like everybody else.  He's got a special talent and if he wants to enjoy the spoils, he's going to have to be more careful about the decisions he makes and the situations he puts himself in.

 

Basically, a little growing up is what he needs.  He's not a bad kid, but over time things can go way off track and it starts with one step.  A bad bearing can lead you way off target over the course of time.

Yes, he is human, but not like the rest of us normal people.  He is worshiped and adored by people who let him get away with everything.

I think he means the people that love and adore him will give him a pass on it...not that EVERYONE lets him get away with it.

Well, IF true, I have a feeling that's going to stop immediately.. Like Pirk said, where there's smoke, there's fire.. And I'm pretty sure any future convictions are going to be heavily scrutinized for properness. And rightfully so..

It's his fault in how he handles it.  He is handling it very poorly obviously.

 

You think his sense of entitlement came out of nowhere?  It's from people letting him believe he is larger than life.

Yeah, I think that the days of getting a free pass for doing things have passed Winston by.  Everything he does from this point forward is going to be heavily scrutinized.
