Quote:What's funny is that he wrote literally not one word of that.

What's even more funny?

He paid a lawyer almost 10x as much for that paragraph than he would have the groceries.

DOH!
At the end of the day he is just a bad person.

Quote:You know, that's not exactly the first time someone said that to me..

Quote:Did he buy you dinner first?

You think he trusts himself to prepare his own statement?
Former Jaguars' running back Fred Taylor used to order Domino's Pizza using stolen credit card numbers while playing for the Florida Gators.

Not a word of that hit the public until he was well clear of Gainesville.

Let's not pretend what happened at Gainesville doesn't get noticed despite the best efforts of l the Gator-infested media to cover it up.

Aaron Hernandez? Hmmm?

I think Crabgate has probably broken BigJohn.  All that defending done previously, and this is how Jameis repays your loyalty and dedication.  He comes into your Publix, steals crab legs from your seafood counter, and didn't even bother to swing by your department and say hello or invite you to this seafood boil he had planned for later in the evening.

The guy is just bad news now.  He wouldn't be the first guy or even the first Heisman winner who saw his demise triggered by crabs.

Haven't read all 8 pages, but maybe the college athletes should unionize. Sounds like many go hungry. Rolleyes

Wonder where the money came from for that?

It's just a simple misunderstanding...

I'm sure they guy he allegedly killed thinks so from the great beyond...but you don't see any of us on here excusing his behavior! :woot:
cam newton stole a lap top in college. it didn't stop anyone from drafting him number one.

I honestly think that a lot of college athletes do these kind of minor things. But if you are a cool guy and are likeable or personable and know how to turn on the charms, people will normally let you get away with it.

But if you're a pompous jerk, no matter how talented you are, others will try to bring you back down to earth.

You mean after he switched to two separate schools and wasn't in trouble again while he was in college... Winston gets his stuff together he could still go first, but it gets worse for him every time he gets in trouble.
