I think it's way to early to judge Cyp. He did miss a chunk of training camp which sets a rookie back and his errors early seemed to be in coverage more do then ability issues. As someone pointed out, he did improve considerably as the season went on. He ended up second on the team in tackles in spite of the slow start. I don't see any reason either from a physical or attitude stand point that he can't be this teams Double-D but with more speed.
Damn that puppy is dumb.
Quote:....and whats the correlation?...

The schedule was difficult in the beginning and got much easier after week 8. So, its not really a surprise that the "perception" might be that Cyp "improved".
I'm not going to get into this same, tired argument for the 100th time but to spare you a few paragraphs from that argument, the Jaguars improved once they were able to play teams that lacked as much talent as they did.

We can't sit here and act like safety play doesn't heavily depend on team performance.
In order to support his untennable position, he will pick the relevant scraps and quote as basis. Ignoring:

1.    New Roster at start of Season

2.    New HC., D.C. and staff

3.    Difficult opponents in first half of season

4.    R O O K I E.

Living in the Past is not living, it's existing in fantasy adjusted to your whims.

Never jump on a rookies play until season two is up.  Some may play great one year and lousy another[Reggie Nelson] while others step it up.
