Quote:I'm not ready to say it means they like him at 3, but I think it is a fair hint that he is their top rated QB at least.

What happens if we take another QB instead of him....meaning he is on the board and we take someone else.

lol, he wanted to tank for Teddy and he says he wouldnt take him at 3, the guy is a joke

Then I'll hope it's Bortles or Carr, and if not I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best.

I wanted to tank for the #1 selection. At the time, Teddy was expected to go 1st overall.

I'm not Gene Smith or a disciple of him like you are apparently. If the Jags can get player x lower in the draft than 3 then you don't take player x at 3.

You're obviously cut from the cloth where you take whatever player you like ASAP and then end up with garbage draft value overall.

Love the history rewrite. You complained incessantly that winning cost the team Bridgewater specifically.

If anyone is cut from the same cloth as Gene, it's you. Gene always thought he was the smartest guy in the room, but he wasn't. You might as well be his clone.

No one asked you. Run along son....
I also am beginning to think Teddy is our guy at 3.
I'm really feeling Mack as well, even tho I think Barr is a better prospect.

I think Mack and Watkins are better players, I'd take them over Bridge. Clowney is in a whole other league. I'd take him over those three.

Bridgewater or Manziel for me. I may prefer Manziel by a slight margin solely because I think he has the highest ceiling.

exactly, he even knows it he just hates that he was wrong again

Just like no one should take a word you say seriously because you will take any side of any debate to bloat your ego.

I know you didn't ask because if anyone can sniff out a pathetic joke of a poser, it's me. I did just a quick search and pulled these gems from one thread. There were pages to pick through, but I think these posts pretty much show what a joke you are.

Quote:No.

Bridgewater is going 1st, regardless. The only way Houston don't take him is if another team trades them a sweetheart deal to trade down.
Quote:I am of the overwhelming opinion that Teddy will go to Houston, but lets face it, every team has a price.

If another team was crazy enough to offer the Texans 5 first rounders and 5 second rounders in exchange for the top pick, they'd take it, I don't care how much they were tanking for Teddy. Thats all I am saying.
Quote:I don't think the Texans set out to do that from game 1 (Like the Colts (Irsay) did in 2011), but once the Texans season was already in the crapper (by around mid-season or so) I think they (or McNair specifically) decided to at that point Tank for Teddy.
Quote:The NFL higher ups must be giddy that a lot of Jaguars fans don't seem to buy into the tanking that their inter divisional rivals just pulled off that will in turn keep the Jaguars down for most of if not the next decade with Luck and Bridge.

Its like being robbed multi times and being in denial that you live in a bad neighborhood. smh... Laughing

It's as if you fling crap at a wall, then hope nobody remembers it months later when you do the typical flip flop. You're really not terribly smart.
Lol, comedy gold

I would be very neutral to us drafting Mack, as I agree with your assessment of Barr.

Prepare for the next barstool diva tap dance. Unfortunately for him, there's a ton of posts where he whined like a jilted school girl following each Jaguar win howling about losing out not on the top pick as he claims now, but Bridgewater specifically.
TMD, you should be thrilled TB is falling to us now if you liked him so much then... But now you are backing off just because the Mayocks of the world don't like him. Has the media influenced you?

The media pretty much tells him what to think. The voices in the magic box know all.

WHen I said those things everyone and their grandmother all thought Teddy was going 1st.

Big deal.

I still want the Jags to select him. I just want them to select him at whatever the real value is - allegedly he's falling in the draft. so. that being the case, I'd rather trade down and still get him rather than Gene Smith'ing it and taking him at 3 at all costs.

I'm not backing off anything. WHere have I said that I do not want us drafting him?? I haven't.

Saying I don't want us taking him at 3 is not the same thing as saying I don't want him to draft him at all. I want proper value.

You are just being an FBT lapdog.

In an already lost season, I'll do it again.

Getting the 1st overall pick is always an advantage. You have more options than all the other teams.

I see his point actually. Trading back and still getting Teddy is the best possible scenario and it's actually pretty possible now. Nothing wrong with maximizing.

Just my two cents though..
