Quote:Watkins is not that much better than the other WRs in the draft. Would much rather draft Mack and than draft as WR in 2nd or 3rd round.
Yeah, I'd even have to agree with this.

so even though watkins is not a "late riser" and is viewed as a sure fire top 5 pick, mack, who you think is overvalued at 3, would be a better pick than watkins. based on your logic, you have no logic.

Me personally, I wouldn't select any WR in the top 3 unless he was Megatron-like.
Watkins isn't close to that.

I don't like Mack at three. I'd be fine with Mack at 6 after a trade down.
Clowney, Matthews, or Manziel/ Bridgewater IF they must stay at 3.
I really want to trade down. Caldwell should be able to make it happen because lots of other GM's like players like Watkins (for example) well enough that he should get decent offers.

Umm... he's being called the best WR prospect since Johnson, so...

Well, lol, if apparently if Mack is just so highly perceived by so many people, then how about trading with another team that wants Mack?
Or a team like Minnesota that wants/ needs a QB.

I doubt he's as good as even Julio Jones or AJ Green...and that was what? 2 years ago???

Quote:Umm... he's being called the best WR prospect since Johnson, so...I've seen like one person say that. 99% of people say he's a notch below Green/Julio/Dez.
He is better than Blackmon though.

And you think we value that opinion because...?
It hasn't gotten play because of the distraction that is the overblown QB banter, but hes one of few elite prospects at the top of this draft.

Blackmon gets a lot of disrespect when (when he's on the field) all the guy does is produce. Both in college and the pro's.
Blackmon produced a 270 yard, 2 score game by his 10th game as a pro. Theres pretty MUCH ZERO chance that Sammy Watkins gets anywhere close to that sort of monster game (as a rookie)
Blackmon was on his way to a monster season - look at the Broncos game - 14 catches - almost 2 bills in yards.... again, I don't see Sammy Watkins being that impactful. Blackmon can take over games at the NFL level.
And need I remind you that Blackmon produced those numbers in college with bad QB, and in the pro's with Chad Henne....

LOL, "we" again.... whats the matter desperate to include yourself in a group. Afraid to stand alone on your own opinion?
"We" was disproven as quickly as post 71 as that opinion shared the premise I brought forth.

You dont do what he did in college and not be elite. Just off the field stuff. Blackmon was on his way to being a top 5 wr

Thats how I see it as well.
Yet we constantly hear that "Blackmon isn't as good a prospect as....insert lesser WR here" since that 2012 draft approached.

anyway if the jaguars trade down to 6, mack will be gone because atlanta will definitely take him if they dont get clowney. watkins will be gone, clowney will be gone. it would be stupid to pass on mack.
