They should give their first round pick to whatever team has the #3 pick in the draft.
Hands on the whee-eel...

I wonder how many DWIs or super speeding incidents he was just let off of before this one finally landed him in the care of an officer that was feeling P-O'd at the colts.

Take some picks Goodell!
Most likely the punishment will be solely on him.  They may could take some picks, but thats more punishing the team and not the person.  Whats more likely is that he submits to the owners to approve forcing him to turn over primary ownership or complete ownership to his daughters.  Who are already designated as joint owners.  Theres only so much Goodell can do, the rest the owners would have to approve.

He was driving like 10mph, and the report i believe is about him being high on pills and not intoxicated.  Tomato Tomoto really, its all bad.  But its good to know the facts.

Well the report was DUI and not OWI so he was high on pills and not drunk.  Also, he was driving like 10mph.  Tomato, Tomoto really its all bad.  But good to know the facts.

Quote:So what type of punishment does the league give the Colts? I'm sure the NFLPA will revolt if something isn't done.

Taking picks isnt a punishment to him.  Thats to the team.  Most likely it can be from a severe from and restricted access, to very possibly forcing him to turn ownership over to his daughters.  They are already designated as co-owners anyways and have been in the management for 5+ years
The punishment will be more levied against him and not the team.  taking picks would only punish the team and not him.  What Goodell can do is levy a huge fine and limit his access to the team.  What is also very possible is that he submit to the owners to have Irsay transfer his ownership over to his daughters who are already designated as co-owners.

As far as what happened, he was found with controlled substances.  He was high on prescription drugs which is a DUI, and not drunk which is an OWI in Indiana.  Also he was going like 10mph.  Its all bad however you look at it, but its good to know the facts.

When the news broke, it was being reported that he was drunk by Schefter amongst others. High on pain killers is just as bad or worse. Point is, he was touting 15 years of sobriety while lying about a pain killer addiction. Hindsight is 20/20. It's easy to "know the facts" a little clearer a day after it goes down.
Umm...if Irsay owns the team...isn't punishing the team punishing him?  When Blackmon got suspended...are you punishing him or punishing the team?

Just delete the Colts from the league. Enough is enough.

I don't wear Affliction t-shirts, so I wouldn't know how much it costs.

If true, another testimonial of his monumental stupidity.

If his state of mind is anything like mine when my eyes look like that, he's in a very happy place.
