Quote:Tweets he hasn't had a drink in 15 years. Gets arrested for DUI. The saddest lies are the ones we tell ourselves. Can't blame the guy for developing a substance abuse problem. He has had a rough life. Wait.. no he hasn't.

What about the drugs that was found within his car during the arrest?

Will the league implement a suspension as well or are the owners exempt?

NH3...
Colts need to lose draftpicks for this

He's facing 4 felonies and already checked into rehab. I would call a suspension likely.

How can you suspend an owner? Not allow him to go to games?
What happened to Aldon Smith last year?

Was he punished? (I'm asking seriously, I don't remember)

He missed five games.

Because he checked into rehab, correct?

I assume a suspension would include all team activities (including games) and a ban from the team facilities.

I don't think he was punished since he went to rehab and missing the 5 games due to rehab was probably more games missed than would have been if he had been suspended.
No punishment has been handed down yet, but it is coming.
Just find it weird that Aldon Smith was punished, but Jim Irsay will be?

Especially since Aldon actually got in a wreck...

Your owner is a train wreck, I dont know why you find it weird?

Aldon Smith sat out five games, and the NFL knowing it was on his own accord allowed that to be his suspension.  it isn't really weird at all.

Umm, I didn't say Irsay being a train wreck was weird, did I? Maybe you should learn to read.

Irsay also checked himself in. It's weird. If Aldon wasn't punished neither should Irsay.

Lol, he missed 5 games...what are you missing here?  He punished himself and the league accepted that as his punishment.

It's really not that hard.  Of all people that should be punished, its an owner of an NFL franchise that is driving drunk and addicted to pain meds.  The guy who cuts the pay checks to the players should have to follow similar rules to what he wants those who work for him to follow.

It's an owner.  This isn't apples to apples.

True, owner should be held more accountable.

Still, Aldon Smith is a professional athlete, also representing the NFL, if he wasn't punished I don't think Irsay should. Doesn't make sense.

Sorry.

That's a little ridiculous.

I think a 2nd rd pick would be modest given the circumstance

Haterade is a troll, his posts aren't worth reading.

The man has a personal problem. Why should the team be punished for that?
