This offense is built for a guy like sanders. Expect to see ground and pound with the play action over top as well
Quote:Ok, so what I was off on the number, big deal, he's still not the type of WR that I am talking about that we need. We have that already in Ace.

I LOL at you for thinking Emmanuel Sanders is anything special. He aint crap. He's been a 2 TD or less player for his entire career until this past contract year. He's a nothing. Another midget who is not a difference maker.

"lol"

Show me where I said he was "anything special"... I'll wait. I just like calling you out for being wrong.

Lol

Keep throwing them statistics out there bud...my god, you're knowledge is lacking in players outside of the Jaguars, go home.
Quote:Mathews has a lot of drops and Adams isnt very impressive to me. We like to play Blackmon in the slot so Sanders would be outside with Shorts and i dont believe Ace can play outside effectively,he is a gadget guy.

Ace is the slot guy.

Shorts/ Blackmon/ on the outside, as they would develop Matthews or Adams also as an outside WR.

E Sanders would be a colossal waste and is not the kind of WR we need.

Yes, as if Em Sanders isn't the smallish player that I have been describing....

You go home.

He's a faster, slightly taller Ace Sanders. Their games are similar short pass/ YAC yards.

Waste signing if it happens. Hopefully we don't sign him so you can go cry.

We don't need any more smurf WR.

We can have more than 3 or 4 WR on a roster y'know.  It isn't like getting a guy like Sanders automatically means we won't find a bigger guy either in FA or the Draft.

As a matter of fact, this draft is supposed to be really deep for WR. I don't think it is a big deal at all if he comes here.

Smurf WR's lmao, the guy is 5'11" 190, not 4'11", so IDK where this midget stuff comes from. If 5'11" is legitly a midget, than there's a ton of midgets in the NFL.

The guy had 44 catches and 630 yards in 2012, and improved and had 6 TD's this year...likely due to getting a chance with Mike Wallace gone. All these statements (especially the midget and smurf one) is completely laughable.
I hope he's fast enough to get in front of the Henne pass before its intercepted.

Lets day we get balckmon back

Sanders and cs3 on the outside, blackmon in the slot

That can tear up a lot teams if you have a accurate qb with great timing and decision making

Exactly.  He just needs something to whine about.

Yes this draft is going to be very deep. No reason at all to waste time with a player like Em Sanders when you already have that type in Ace.

We won't or shouldn't be carrying more than 4 WR on the roster. 5 would be pushing it, and the only way it would be acceptable is if 2 of those were draftees.

Ace

Justin

Cecil

and why are we forgetting Mike Brown?? He's essentially Em Sanders YAC/ short pass type skill set.

As said, Em Sanders would be a STUPID signing.

Em Sanders is not 190 he's 180 according to NFL,com player bio.

Yes, thats light. and anything under 6 foot for a WR is short.

Not saying Blackmon only plays slot but he plays majority slot....
I'd like to have him.. Can never have enough weapons. Who do we lose if he happens to sign though? M.Brown?

The DB will be outmuscling/ out-fight Em Sanders easily for the ball, so don't count on it.

As it stands, we have Shorts, Ace, and Mike Brown.

I know WR is deep this draft, but you never know what can happen in the draft.  You don't want to force a WR for instance.

Shorts, Ace, and Brown are not nearly enough to be a competitive team.  Sanders can help, although I'm not too thrilled about the signing if that's the case.  Not because I don't like Sanders, but rather because all signs are pointing to the fact that Blackmon will not play for us (or anyone) for a long time.

It is beyond obvious you are just trying to find little things to complain about. So have fun being depressed and upset all the time.

Yeah, why do we need Mark Clayton?  We already have Mark Duper, Mark Clayton is the same guy.

Signed,

Dolphins' version of TMD

If this team is bringing him in then they clearly don't view it as a waste of time.  This team needs depth, it needs improvement, and it needs camp bodies for competition.  You don't even know if they will sign him, or if they do, how much his contract will be worth.

No reason to pop a blood vessel over it.

If so, then the last thing you want is smaller WR on the outside. I thought we learned that lesson with Mike Thomas....apparently no, we need to learn it like 5 times over.
