Quote:Cooper signed a 5 year 25 mil contract. Decker may get 6 or 7 mil per.

9 mil ain't happening.

I think Cooper is better. They both played with Tebow. I would love to sign Decker but wouldn't pay more then 8 million a yr.

Cooper is a WR4, WR3 tops, that was pressed into higher usage via necessity last year...he'll go back to being a WR3 or below again next season. Thats why Coop's contract is so "low". Decker will make significantly more.
Quote:Imagine if Blackmon came back though. Blackmon/Shorts/Decker/Sanders/Browns.
I'd rather have a WR from the draft, especially if Blackmon is coming back.
Quote:And that last line probably isn't even an exaggeration. This draft is stacked at WR.

Any team signing Decker at big cash would be foolish. This isn't the year to have to do that.

Maybe the depth in the Draft is dragging his value on the market down to a more reasonable number and that's why the jags are interested? I don't know, trying to stay positive

I disagree I think Cooper is best Wr on Philly. Alshon Jeffery is best bears Wr not B Marshall. Hartline not M Wallace in Miami.
If we sign Decker to a substantial contract I'm going to seriously question Caldwell, especially if he doesn't at least kick the tires on Byrd.
Adam Caplan just said on NFL Insiders to expect Zane Beadles and Jaguars to get a deal done within the hour. Great news.

Rumor mill says we are signing Brett Favre

Stop. It's not close. Decker is way better than Cooper.

With the market for Eric Decker being fairly quiet, the #Jaguars are ready to make a big offer. Blackmon/Shorts/Decker would be scary.

This a good source at all?

Agreed.

Good signing.
Decker and Beadles? Uh, decent but not "great"

Pre-emptive anger
Overpaying for Decker would be horrible. Lets be honest.

I resemble that remark
Will Decker bring his reality show and wife? Meeeeeeow.

How do you know they are going to overpay for Decker?
