Quote:Eww? He's a productive receiver. God forbid.

Did he play in the Super Bowl? Cuz he was no where to be found, they had to put out an APB on him
Glad to hear Jags are interested in Decker. If they can get him cheap I'll be happy.

Decker is a #2. The question is, would we rather have Decker or Shorts?
Quote:Ignore that he produced with Tebow at QB. Ignore that he was a productive college receiver.

Dude, a Decker signing would be [BLEEP]. He will make 9-10 MIL per and this is a draft that is STACKED with WR talent which you can get for a fraction of the price.
Quote:5 MIL per would be somewhat reasonable, but see, lol.....he's getting more money than Asomoah, and Asomoah is younger and better. #PeytonManningfactor

How do you know Asomoah is better? Especially in our scheme, which all I keep hearing is how Beadles would be a perfect fit in. Again, the Jaguars are looking for players that fit their scheme. The best FA's we see are different from the guy's they see as the best. If Asomoah wants to go to ATL, it's not like we can do anything about it either. I'll happily take Beadles as a consolation prize...which I don't even consider him that lol.

Happy to hear though we're starting to hear some buzz regarding some guys and us.

Why not have both?
Decker?  He's a #2 WR.  All the Jags got are #2's and lower, while the #1 is in rehab and probably a bust.

Imagine if Blackmon came back though. Blackmon/Shorts/Decker/Sanders/Browns.

I highly doubt that.

Cheap? lol.....he ain't being got cheap..... 9 MIL per, MINIMUM.

Any chance they are considering trading Shorts? (if they added a WR like Decker)?

Hopefully it wouldn't foreshadow a Blackmon release. I don't want Blackmon ripping up the league somewhere else.

Ehh, doubt he'll be cheap exactly. If the price is right though I hope we get him. Neither him nor Shorts is a true #1, but if you have a good enough cast you don't exactly need one. Look at what Shorts does when he has a good guy besides him taking off the pressure. Decker would provide that.

Yea I dont see why Decker would sign here over the Colts or NE places with great QBs outside of Money, which means we would have to pay a lot to get him, I would take about 10 WRs in this draft over him
Agreed, I don't want Decker. He will command 70-90 million dollars a year. Yes a year. Pass.
Quote:I highly doubt that.

9 MIL MINIMUM, watch.

And that last line probably isn't even an exaggeration. This draft is stacked at WR.

Any team signing Decker at big cash would be foolish. This isn't the year to have to do that.
If the Jags can get Michel Vick, Steve Smith, Santonio Holmes, Revis, Demarcus Ware, this team is going to the playoffs.

Cooper signed a 5 year 25 mil contract. Decker may get 6 or 7 mil per.

9 mil ain't happening.

I agree, I highly doubt he gets 9M per. Decker was just saying how he wasn't on Demaryius Thomas's level as well, not that it signals to money, but 9M a year? I doubt it.

9 million guaranteed maybe. But not 9 million a year.

I would think he'd get around what Garcon got which makes your 6 or 7 seem like a fair number.

I can't see him getting 9 mil.
