With the Bryant pick up I'm thinking we are grabbing Khalil Mack. With Bryant's ability to collapse the o-line and eat up blockers I can see how Mack would be the perfect outside linebacker for us.
Quote:There really aren't very many teams with salary cap space, and certainly not many with a whole lot of cap space.  Most of the league was pressed up close to the salary cap before the 10 million dollar increase.  The 10 million dollar increase basically allowed most of the teams to resign their own players and a few more to have some wiggle in free agency.  Without looking and off the top of my head, there were probably 4 or 5 teams with a lot of space before and maybe 1 or 2 more now.
I guess what qualifies as a lot of cap space is debatable, but half of the league has more than 20 mil available. That's a lot to me.

He has 3.5 sacks in 6 years... he better be one hell of a run stuffer.

Love this signing. Gets alualu out of the starting spot.
He'll do good opening up offensive lines for Clowney.

Read the comments, Seahawks fans love the guy, exactly the type of player I want on this team.
That's the first time I've ever seen another fanbase on NFL.com's comment section actually compliment the Jaguars.

Seahawks fans in general are awesome.
Good signing.

Great signing!

This free agency is looking very good for the Jags.  Sign some vets for the D-line and the defense should be pretty stout next season.

Only bad part is we still have to wait two days for any other signings.

Gotta give Austin credit, he got schooled on trying to arm tackel a 320+ load under full steam.

Cost him 3-4 yards when he decided to take the legs out, that also looked like it hurt.

This is remnincent of Big John, big man, vocal leader, smart and hungry fo babies........

Great pick up would be a little more excited if he was younger

Good to know he believes strongly in Bradley.

Quite the endorsement, considering he just left a Super Bowl team.

He's a DE not a DT btw.

When a coaches reputation alone can warrant this team an upgrade at any position, it's a pretty exciting feeling..
How can you not like this signing???

A DE with 3 sacks over 6 years is a bit concerning..

You don't really understand

I understand he is a run stuffer, I also understand our issues on the D line is with pass rushing.

Run stuffing and double team commander. That is his forte. The main reason Seattle can get so much pressure with just rushing 4 down linemen is because of guys like him. Similar to Alualu. He didn't have stats and I still don't like him, but he still wasn't THAT bad at his role this year. And honestly, a 320 pound guy isn't going to be a hugh rush anyway. It's like having two nose tackles on the field. That is why the LEO flourishes. Most attention has to be given to the big guy completely wrecking the other side of the line
