 I'm shedding a tear being so far away and watching that video.

Apparently Shad Khan has already been in the pools at the stadium.

When I had a chance to see the boards when they were testing... the SOUND is what really blew my mind.   Amazing!!! Tomorrow night can't get here soon enough!

Cool pool view.

During tonight's Suns game they had the new boards fired up. A number of people commented on them.

They've been running the boards trying to burn them in almost non stop. I wonder what that JEA electric bill looks like?

I gave my tickets away for tonight's event to a buddy of mine whose wife is a big Carrie Underwood fan.  Plus my wife is working.  Gonna miss out on the big show, but I'll get to see plenty of it when the season starts.

We're kinda in the same boat. My sister is in town from Texas and I couldn't pull myself away from her and the family...

Been looking at all the picture. Man that looks awesome.


One day I will come to Jax, sit in the pool with watch the game with my son.

My son is there tonight and is texting me...he says it looks awesome in there and that the stadium has a whole different feel to it! He said it feels more closed in which hopefully will help us be more loud for games.



He is also apparently surrounded by non soccer fans from the comments he's been sending me that he's hearing from the people around him!!

Just got back! Khan knows how to throw a party! Very nice evening. We dipped out a few minutes early. Tried to take pics but boards were too bright for my camera. Did see others taking video and it seemed to show up well on their phones.

The traffic tonight was absolutely the worse ive ever seen it, barely saw any police directing traffic so it was basically do what you want and try to avoid getting killed

Just to confirm - a great night. Congratulations to all involved, everything went off perfectly.

 

And the video boards are more than you expect. You think you're prepared, but you're not. The HD factor is almost as impressive as the size.

 

And the sound was better than I recall from last year. Perhaps that's just me.

 

I just hope we don't become jaded too quickly and start wondering in 2017 when they're going to do something about the darn things. We Americans tend to be an impatient people.

They are big.  But what I was more impressed with is how good the resolution is on the jumbotrons.
