I've seen some awesome comments about him being the surest thing in the draft. Here's a cool article about him:

Gotta love the draft. Sadly, you can't get everyone, and he's out of the Jags range being projected as a mid to late first rounder.

EDIT: I admit I made a mistake in saying he was a mid-late first rounder. Since this thread is still alive I figured I'd just come out and say that. I believe Mack could be a very good player.

I like him a lot but I disagree with your assessment of where he'll be selected. He probably will be the second defensive player selected and likely in the top ten.
I will be floored if he isn't a top 10 pick. I would be more surprised by him falling out of the top ten than I would be him being drafted before Clowney.

Mack won't be participating in the senior bowl this year.

Bucky Brooks gave him very guarded praise, generally indicating that he'll be a good but not elite player. I have not seen Mack play, but his build looks beast, has tremendous defensive disruptive stats (forced fumbles, tackles for loss....), and has a very high motor. It will be interesting to see how he does at the Combine. I don't see a disruptor such as this guy dropping into the bottom of the 1st round as Brooks speculates.

yeah I don't blame him, although Von Miller did just a few years ago

I think with the new era of rookie salary scale, it makes little sense to try to raise your stock with an all star game when you're projected to go anywhere close to the top 10.

as far as Mack goes, I think Terrell Suggs is a good comparison and don't see him making it out of the top 10, if I had to make a top 5 players I would take at #3, he would probably be #3 or #4
Yeah, I was wrong on my assessment of him being a mid-late 1st.

How high would you guys take him?

Us taking him at 3 shouldn't surprise or disappoint anyone.

if Clowney and Bridgewater are gone, then I'd have to think he'd be in the conversation at #3 if we couldn't trade down

x2.

Mack is a beast and I don't see how he falls out of the top 10

So I'm blind because I have a different opinion than you?

No, because you said you can't see how he could fall out of the top ten.

Take a look at the other football players and it's not hard to see anything can happen. We haven't even begun to see the evaluations of the NFL scouting community yet.
He's not lasting into the middle of the first round and if he somehow would, I'd definitely part with some picks to trade up and grab him.

jungle cat, youre not even an entertaining troll. pls go.
If we trade back a little, not too far, he would be one of the guys we should covet along with Watkins. He would be a difference maker on this team. And I think it is a distinct possibility that we might trade down. Especially, if Dave's QB and Clowney are not there.

Eastern Michigan 2-10

Western Michigan 1-11

UMass 1-11

Kent State 4-8

Ohio 7-6

Toledo 7-5

Miami (Ohio) 0-12

You forgot to add Ohio State where he had like 4 sacks and a pick six. I can't stand your posts I wish you could get banned. Everything I read from you is total bull and just weird. Every single post I read like "what in the world is this guy talking about" Glad that's not me tho. It would stink to be mad/upset about everything..

As for your argument, which this will be the last time I ever respond to your dumb posts, schedule doesn't matter at all. Joe Flacco won a superbowl and played at Delaware. That's all I have to say.

Loser.
Ok guys I think Jungle Cat can be kinda odd sometimes as well. But let's not be hating on him. I know he wants Matthews at 3, which I think pretty much everyone disagrees with haha but still. Let him state his opinion.
