Manziel put up better numbers, had less 'boneheaded plays' and was overall much more dominant against a superior team than Bortles has looked at any point I've seen this year.
Size and strength are actually a big factor, and Manziel has one of the best offensive lines in the league which gives him time to aimlessly launch the ball to Mike Evans

"Blake Bortles' conflict: media/mock drafts = top 10, NFL advisory panel = 2nd RD. 5th pick = 4yrs/18M, 40th pick = 4yrs/4M. #toughcall"
I agree. I think he belongs in the 2nd round but with he could help his draft stock sneak into the 1st round with a good combine performance.
Quote:If there is an accuracy drill at the combine....Manziel and Bridgewater will kill everybody
Manziel's accuracy in the intermediate game is subpar. Teddy and especially Carr will destroy the throwing drills.

Who gives a sh*t about college stats? Tim Tebow was one of the best college football players of all time.
Manziel is the best college QB in the game, but that won't mean anything in the pros. He's not going to get away with what he's gotten away with in college.

Bortles is a lot more accurate then Manziel
In other news…
Storm Johnson is very good. He could be a solid pick in the mid-to-late rounds.

Subpar? No way. Anyway, we'll see.

Manziel has great accuracy on the run. Not so much in the pocket.

Size and strength do matter in the NFL. When he gets hit 5-6 times I wanna see my QB get back up. Manziel has already had scares of injuries in college. What do you think is going to happen when someone bigger and faster hits him? I like Manziels skill but I just dont believe hes going to be able to stay healthy at his size and how he plays.

that's if he comes out. He runs hard and i really like that.
In easily Bortles worst game in 2 years as a 17 point dog against the #6 team in the country with one of the nation's best defenses, he still led the UCF offense to at least 49 points. Just sayin'.
Here is a question for you all...
If available, would you rather take Bortles or Manziel in the 2nd round?
Quote:Bortles is a good QB, don't get me wrong.. But he's not even close to being in the same mention as Bridgewater and Manziel..
No thanks on Bortles..
Quote:He's not the college QB "insert name here" is, but he's a much better NFL prospect.
THats eerily almost exactly what was said about Gabbert when he was entering the NFL
Quote:Manziel's accuracy in the intermediate game is subpar. Teddy and especially Carr will destroy the throwing drills.
lol, Carr.....Yeah Carr will do good in drills with no pressure...but as we saw in the USC game, he will disappoint once the lights go on.

Where are you coming up with this....I've watched him all year....he's dead accurate. There's a video I posted in College Football. Manziel is throwing footballs thru basketball hoops from the top of A&M stadium. You can't have subpar accuracy and do that. Watch the dang video. The title is Manziel Trick Shots

Manziel is a steal in the 2nd round, his upside is way more the Bortles

Manziel won't be there at pick 33 let alone our pick of 39. He'll be going top 10 at worst, prob top 5.

He has imprssed me. I dont know what game these other clowns are watching. I think he would be a steal if he were there in the second round.

That video literally matters zero for scouting him.

Irrelevant.....they'll both be gone.

I know…
It's a hypothetical question, hence the "if available."
