Quote:You missed quite a bit.
If a QB some prematurely pegged as the first overall of the draft slips from that pedestal, it's for good reason.
It's because he was never that valuable prospect to begin with. Sorry if the truth hurts some of you who fell for the fraud.
Wait...when did Bridgewater already slip off the top 10 pick? As far as I'm concerned, he's still in strong contention for #1 overall.
Bridgewater was considered a top 3 pick since the end of his sophomore year, and guess what? His stock never change -- he's still considered a top 3 pick.
Sorry, but your Gabbert comparison, for what it's worth, is way off.

Its just what Jaguars fans say to console themselves over the possibility that the Jags won't have a chance to draft Bridgewater. Teddy has been a top 3 pick, if not a top 2 pick even dating back to prior to this season.

Don't listen to that clown in diapers.

And we have the #3 pick, #2 if the Redskins win tomorrow. So we are still able to pick Bridgewater if the Texans don't.

That shouldn't be a concern. The Rams extended Bradford and need a franchise LT.

But the Texans will always be a concern. Is there anything else they might want to use that pick for? Is there any chance they might want Johnny Football instead?

when did they extend bradford?

My bad. I thought it was a done deal, but they are looking to extend him. They seem pretty content.
Quote:"We have decided that Sam Bradford is our guy. If they came to us and wanted to do a contract extension right now, we'd do it in a minute," Demoff told Silver.
It would be a really bad decision should they extend a guy who has done nothing so far in his four years.
Quote:the article seem to be before the injury, not sure if they still think that.

Perhaps, but that's a quote from a man who is completely sold.
That quote came right before his horrible game against the 49ers. Since then he's beaten two really bad team and put some nice TD numbers, then lose to Carolina and blew his ACL.
Also, its not 100% lock that he'll be back in St.Louis next year. They don't owe him anymore guarantee money and could potentially cut him if he's not ready to play in the season.
Pirkster, long time no see!
Pirkster, you can still drop your knowledge in this forum about how overrated TB is. In fact, you don't have to worry about Jacksonville drafting this overrated, skinny QB; the Jaguars won't have the chance to draft him at all.

They are taking the Steak, mushrooms, and loaded mash potatoes. We get our choice of the freshest items off the Wendy's 99 cent menu.
All because we won two additional late season games that would surely change our culture for next season.

Right.... Every other player in the next draft sucks beyond words.

Does being that stupid come naturally, or do you have to work at it?
I think he meant QB prospects.

which doesn't change my reply one bit.

Ryan Tannehill
Brandon Weeden
Cam Newton
Jake Locker
Blaine Gabbert
Christian Ponder
Sam Bradford
Tim Tebow
Matthew Stafford
Mark Sanchez
Josh Freeman
Matt Ryan
Joe Flacco
JaMarcus Russell
Brady Quinn
Vince Young
Matt Leinart
Jay Cutler

Aaron Rodgers
Jason Campbell
Eli Manning
Philip Rivers
Ben Roethlisberger
J.P. Losman
Carson Palmer
Byron Leftwich
Kyle Boller
Rex Grossman

This list proves two things: One, a being a first round drafted quarterback means exactly squat. Second, it means that the best guy doesn't always go first. History proves it. Someone who has half of a brain understands this. Those who think they're so smart that they already know what the future holds only prove how utterly stupid they really are.
How many of those were Bridgewater's (or better) level of prospect?
