Okay, I'm a woman so I'm not a huge fan of shaking hands to begin with, it feels weird to me, but if you're gonna do it...COMMIT TO IT dang you!!!

Nothing worse than the "dead fish"...
The "hot 106.5" commercials constantly being aired on channel 4 in the mornings.

In college in one of my business classes we had a couple of hour session on a 'proper handshake'. It seemed a little weird at the time, but nowadays I do tend to judge some people on a 'good handshake'. My wife is also quick to point out a bad handshake.

I taught all of my sons how to shake hands. When my oldest daughter introduced her boyfriend to me she had cautioned him ahead of time that I frown upon limp handshakes. It's probably kind of dumb but a handshake is an important first impression to me. I also tease a few of my sons' friends by asking if a curtsy comes with their limp handshakes.

Mr. Bunny taught our son to give a firm hand shake and to always make eye contact when you do!

Yes, eye contact is important.

No, that's wax on, wax off. But if you wax off too much eye contact becomes irrelevant.

Can a pet peeve be something you do yourself? I have a lot of those.

It depends. Does anything you do affect your eyesight?
My first 'office' boss used to say "shined shoes and a firm handshake will get you in the door, the rest is up to you"
