Quote:Yeah I know, I'm sick over that overwhelming outcry for more Henne from Jags fans!!!

Henne fever all over this place!!!

So much Henne love!!!!

What the hell are you talking about?

He's the best we have right now.. All the Henne love will disappear after the end of the season.
Henne is a guy that can step in 2 or 3 game a season when the starter goes down. When he's asked to carry the team he simply can't do it.

Quote:It's not even worth talking about. It's what Henne does. He managed a win against the browns, but that was the exception.

Anyone hoping for him to be signed for next year probably needs an MRI on their brain.

bro you were Gabbert's #1 fan on this forum. u shouldn't be talking about who needs their brain examined.

I was being sarcastic.

I am not seeing all of this Henne love that SeldomRite is talking about.

Pretty sure everyone knows the QB position will look much different next year.

Ahhhh...that's what this about....check.
Well.....this is what we will have unless we find a QB. And those tankers are the ones who recognized why losing could benefit the team

Seems about right
It turns out that the blocked XP did come back to haunt the Jags.

They are down by 3 and kick the FG to tie instead of going for it down by 4.

Then it's a different game at the end. Maybe the same result, maybe not, but a different game.

he blamed Gabbert's struggles on Blackmon last year. it can't get much dumber than that.
It's why getting a high pick and getting a franchise QB is so valuable to this team....or let's continue with henne and win 4 games a year
Blaming only Henne for this loss is pretty narrow sighted, the pick at the end was nothing in comparison to the 200 yards rushing the D gave up, the bone head penalties, the rookie mistakes and lack of real playmakers on the field

We have a high pick and getting A Franchise QB in this or any draft is no sure thing

Better chance up top than below

The team is currently 3rd or 4th in the draft. They have a pretty good chance of landing a potential franchise guy. Unless the front office really believes there's only 1 guy with franchise potential in this draft.

Let's hope. I trust them but we just gave texans QB of their choice. Texans clinched 1. We gave colts luck, let's hope texans QB fails
Quote:Back to back weeks in the clutch, Henne fails! Thx Again, although it dont help when your WR dont execute that well to get a first down !! Still give the team a chance Henne!! SMH oh well..

I fail to see why it's necessary to bag on the guy when everyone knows what he is here. It's not like he's in the long term plans as the starter. The job is his for one more week.

Actually the odds of getting a Franchise QB are very very slim. Nearly every team without one tries. You just have to find yourself a an above average QB, who is a leader, and try to develop him into the best QB you can. As the QB gets better, he will make the players around him better, hence the team will be better, at least on the offensive side of the ball.

I think the better the coaching staff is, the better the QB can be. The better coaching staff will put the QB into better situations to be successful.
Quote:Seriously?

Sorry, you are right.  I'll retract that statement
