Any chance if MJD does not play this weekend, how many touches do you think D Rob will see? I want MJD to play, but I am curious to see the progress DR has made.

I know man. I'm waiting for him to make that one big play. I know he has it in him! I feel like every carry he gets someone is already in his face. I wish we could get him out into space somehow
Since Forsett and MJD will both be out, I can see him getting 10 touches. Maybe 7 carries and 3 receptions. Im really looking forward to seeing how he does, he was my favorite pick in the draft last year.

Forsett? Todman was the guy who went out with a cramp. That was when Robinson came in, so I don't remember ever seeing Forsett.

Forsett has been out a few weeks with an injury and was just moved to the IR. So your correct you never saw Forsett.

Did anybody in the post game speech by Gus notice that Robinson looked biggger? I've only ever seen the guy in pads but he looks pretty thick even out of pads. Just curious if anybody else noticed or has he always been that big.

Looks like he added about 10 pounds because I think I heard someone say during the game that's he's about 205 and I vaguely remember him being in the 190's

Hes always had a think lower body (pause) but he needs to add some upper body strength still.
I feel like he just needs that big play and the rest will take care of itself. I'm anxious to see because our offensive line has been creating room to run. The Bills have the 26th ranked rushing defense and the 6th ranked passing defense. I look for that to be the focus this week.

Denard will get 8 carries... Todman will get 16... Chad Henne will run for his life again this week..... Jaguars beat the Bills..... Go Jaguars!!!

Sounds like Rudy.
Dude already has 115 combined yards on punt returns and rushing yards.  Shouldn't we start thinking about resting him?

Kick returns**
Lol @ all the Robinson fan boys. Stick to college football and leave the pro game to people who actually know what they're watching. Robinson was a 5th round pick for a reason, and that reason is he's not very good.

I can't understand why everyone keeps calling Denard a disappointment.

He gets one chance per game to do anything with the ball, and all running backs need to develop a rhythm.

Does it ever occur to you that the reason he gets so few touches is because he's just not that good? Don't you think if he was showing out in practice that he would get more chances in the game?

It's time for the Robnison fan boys to face reality. He's not that good. Stick to college football please.
The fact that he's seen so few touches this year is a good indication the coaching staff doesn't have a lot of confidence in where he's at currently.  If MJD is out this week, he may see more action, but I wouldn't hold out much hope of him getting significant playing time.  If he does, it will more than likely be as a return specialist to protect Toddman from any additional risk of injury.

I've looked at Robinson as a project from the start.  He's a 5th round pick changing positions and adjusting to the speed of the NFL game.  I think you'll probably see him make strides in 2014 in whatever role they have for him, and with his athletic abilities, the hope is he'll make significant improvements.  I don't think the game has slowed down for him yet, and I also believe he's been miscast when they try running him between the tackles.  They need to find ways to get him into space and let him make plays, but he's proven to be a liability if you're throwing him the ball.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with him next year.  People need to keep the fact that he's a 5th round pick in mind when setting their expectations.

I think a lot of people got caught up in the popularity of Denard as a college player when we drafted him and have their expectations too high. And as FBT mentioned he's changing positions and adjusting to the NFL game.

Denard's day on Sunday depends largely on whether they use the new guy or not.  (Carter)

It would be good to see Denard get some experience  - especially if the line is blocking well.  Hopefully 6 or 7 carries.

I'd rather see them use a rotation so that he gets more than just situational carries. It seems like the minute they put him in the defense knows he's getting the ball and that might be part of his production problem. Let him be out there for 8 to 10 plays in a row instead of 1 here and 1 there.

That would be ideal.   They have had him out there for 3 or 4 plays at a time in a few games  -  but yes, his presence still has been too much of a flashing neon sign announcing where the ball is going.
